My family and I recently stayed here over Easter. We found the new managers to be really friendly and happy to help out with anything. The grounds have had some great updates there’s now a pool. It was a great surprise for the kids to see Easter Bunny on Easter morning as well. Thanks we will be back.

Rip off.....

Reviewed By lyndall-AY2022

This was our first ever visit to beautiful Bright. We were shocked to soon discover that this park are just nothing more than rip off merchants. Everything apart from the very basics that are supplied in the cabins you have to pay for, from the $20 per night for any extra bed used, apart from the main bed, to the extra charges for a fresh towel, or if you use up your tea or coffee you can't just ask for some more, you have to buy extra from their stocks, and pay 8% surcharge when paying by card. One of our friends ( we were part of a group booking) was even charged the extra $20 p.n for a member of our group who couldn't get there until the Saturday, but still had to pay for him, excuse given was that he might "sneak in when the office is closed" !!???. And as an accommodation cleaner myself I quickly discovered all the places that the cleaning staff are NOT cleaning, from the dirty shower base ( needs some real cleaning/bleaching), to the dusty shelves and skirting boards. We will be coming back to Bright, but NOT to this place.

Disappointing

Reviewed By Tripsinourvan

A beautiful setting for our whole family to gather for a weekend catchup and activities, beautiful walking tracks from the park and access is ok to the river. Extremely disappointed with one of the staff who on the Friday night "shut us down" from talking promptly with a warning at 9.30pm them another visit to put us to bed at 10pm when park rules are "to keep noise to a minimum " not a curfew and then another visit on the Sarurday night it was an aggressive confrontation by the staff member who then proceeded to stalk us and watch as we retired to bed. A disappointing experience that will prevent us from booking again whilst this is the management at the park. Just creepy and authoritarian, so sad for such a lovely spot. Oh and there's to be no noise til 7.30am, so don't take your kids

Modern county pub. Vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the quirky aspects including fish tank in the toilets. Bright and airy, with a decent pub meal. Definitely a great place to have a meal and share a bottle of wine if you are in the area
