Ronel, Alex and little Hudson are the proud owners of the Surf & Sand Inn. Originally from South Africa (Ronel) and France (Alex) we met in California and soon after getting married, little Hudson was born. Wanting to enjoy every single moment of life we decided to relocate our family and was fortunate to find this Inn, located in the heart of the Oregon coast in Tillamook County’s beach community of Pacific City. The Inn (formerly known as The Inn at Pacific City) has a rich history, the building dates back to 1906 and for many years served as the headquarters of the Coast Guard. For the past 22 years the Inn was ran by Doug & Patti Olsen who established a reputation for value and customer satisfaction. With our background in hospitality we are excited to continue to build on this tradition. Our 15 unit motor lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, dining, the famous Nestucca River and ample outdoor activities. We have lots of extra parking for RV’s and boats and offer bicycle storage facilities. Driving distance from Portland, Salem and the Willamite Valley this beautiful part of the State offers something special for everyone. Nicely renovated older motel
Reviewed By mepb49Located 1 mile from the beach and 2 miles from 101. A mid 50s type motel with central courtyard. It has been nicely renovated. The room was very clean. The staff was helpful. The walls were thin. We could hear snoring next-door. Priced very reasonably. No breakfast.

Pacific City Inn is a complete Oregon coastal inn. Located in central Pacific City, we are close to shopping, dining, the beach, the river and hiking beautiful south Tillamook County. We offer 18 smoke-free rooms with a variety of amenities that will ensure you have a comfortable stay. We have dog-friendly accommodations and have high-speed internet throughout the property. All rooms have premium cable TV, microwaves, mini-fridges and coffee makers. We have ample boat and RV parking, as well as locked bicycle storage.

They very helpful any time I asked for extra towels or coffee or hot chocolate for the keurig. They kindly gave me a mask and some spares when I couldn't find one. I really like that the floors are laminate which is cleaner and more sanitary than carpet. The towels are fluffy and soft. There is plenty of body wash and shower gel in a dispenser in the shower. Behind the hotel is a small airstrip. It is fun for the kids to see small planes coming in. It is not noisy at all. The room was very clean upon entry. I would definitely stay again!

Lovely Family-Owned Motel
Reviewed By erictF1654LSWe stayed at the Anchorage Motel for two nights in March, and loved our time there. The family at the motel is incredibly sweet, and kindly extended our checkout time. The location is also wonderful, close to a cafe and candy store, as well as Bob Straub State Park and the beach.

Reviewed By jenniferrD2013LMCute little hotel with prime ocean view location. Spacious rooms with nice balcony. We enjoyed the hotel. My only complaint is there is not much to do in area besides beach… so if weather is bad it can be boring. Food options also not great in area unless you drive to Lincoln City, but there is a great coffee shop attached for breakfast. Not a fault of hotel. They offer things like board games, bikes, movies for free.

Whether you opt to stay in a “hotel” room or one of the “condos”, you won’t be disappointed…but splurge for the “condo” you won’t regret it. Definitely do not miss the Meridian Restaurant and Bar!
