Reviewed By OslofooddudeA family trip to celebrate a birthday and the kids enjoyed the waterpark and Superland so that was a big plus. The dinner was fantastic and the buffet is fabulous. The breakfast here is amazing and the wait staff are absolutely helpful and friendly. Top marks to the kitchen staff for putting out such a wonderful spread every morning and every night. We had a family room and the only minor complaint was that this room is located by the elevator, so there is a lot more noise, but when you have kids who are up during the night, it really didn't matter!

Scandic Brennemoen is one of the largest conference hotels in the Ostfold region. Our hotel is located only 45 minutes from Oslo by car and has excellent bus and train connections. The express bus from Oslo to Mysen stops at the hotel. We can organise everything from small daytime meetings to larger conferences and kick offs. Our hotel offers 100 stylish and newly decorated rooms with space for over 200 people. We have a modern fitness room that all our guests can use free of charge. Our hotel has large outdoor spaces near the forest where you can enjoy many exciting activities. There’ll be a large climbing tower by the hotel, which can be used for activities. Large outdoor parking area with several charging stations for electric cars.

Reviewed By Checkin35Due to limited parking possibilities in Oslo City we chose this hotel as this one had a free parking. The hotel is quite new and is only about an hour drive away from Oslo. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the hand soap was empty which was a bit surprising in these times. Breakfast all in all didn't have much selection and especially less for vegetarians. It was also quite surprising to notice that there were no covers for the food to be able to keep food safe and intact.

Reviewed By 698ingasWe stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in July. It was newly renowated and we loved the interior. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spaceful. The brekfast is not overwhealming big like in some hotels , but it has every thing you need to get a good start in the morning. I will definitivly choose this hotel for my next trip to Fredrikstad.

Fredriksten Hotel is wonderfully situated on Fredriksten fortress. Located high above downtown Halden - but only a nice walk to town center. The hotel is completely renovated with 57 new rooms and new public areas in 2014. Enjoy the views, the peace, the hospitality and food with us. Welcome!

Almost the hole wedding party got the wrong rooms but they were able to fix it a little. making some small mistakes can happen and is something that sometimes may happen but then I would expect them to fix it but that is were I felt they did a bad job. We didn't get what we wanted either but then I thought they were able to fix us a double room for one night and with the mes they were willing to give us a discount but then when I checked out on the last day I found that I hadn't gotten a discount but instead needed to pay extra for both nights and that is unacceptable. not only that but when we had breakfast the waiter wasn't willing to let everyone finish eating at out table before taking our plates and when we asked for it back then there was no apology except a rude smirk. We had two different rooms so I can rate them both and the small room was incredibly small, in fact its the smallest hotell room I have been in I think. The larger double room was good but noisy. The rooms are far from soundproof and we could hear every room around us. The hall on the floor above us were people were walking all night witch should be ok but since the rooms had such thin walls then it got disruptive. I can end this with stating that the location with a great view was nice but the rest was appalling. This is a hotell I must regrettably not be able to recommend to anyone.

Bad cleaning but good location

It looks like cleaning routines are not good in this hotel. There were also other guests complaining about cleaning when it was time to check out. But good wiew from the room. And good breakfast

Reviewed By PirividiteVery charming hotel with small and cosy rooms. The building itself is interesting, and it is a lovely experience to stay in the middle of the Old Town - almost a museum. The breakfast is served in a lovely restaurant around the corner. The room was clean (and full of chocolate!), well-equipped and even had a very good hair dryer. The only negative I can think of is that the streets outside are probably quite noisy during the summer months. I came in the winter and had no problems.
