Each unit is newly remodeled and offers a full kitchenette, Keurig coffee machine, DVD player, flat screen television and a fresh beach decor. We provide complimentary coffee, newspapers, beach chairs and umbrellas, long distance telephone calls are free as is quality wifi access and we provide onsite coin operated laundry for our guests. Our beachfront pool is heated with plenty of seating and our front lawn has a barbeque area with 3 Weber grills for guests to use and additional lounge chairs. Our prime location offers spectacular ocean views and a very short walk to area attractions, restaurants, entertainment and amusements. We are an eco-friendly establishment that has invested significantly to reduce our impact on the environment.
Great beach access, great location and amenities
Reviewed By Freedom41186259646The stay was beyond our expectations! The staff were friendly. Beach access was steps away. There was also a complimentary Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby that made the stay even better. The light show also was enjoyable at the hotel. There is also a bar on site offering beer selections and special cocktails such as a pin-a-colada. There are also a couple of grills on site that any guests can use. The rooms have a kitchenette with utensils. We will visit again and probably make a nice dinner in the kitchenette. The Shack is a nearby restaurant that serves excellent clam chowder and other good food! Highly recommend!!!!! A++++

We are located directly on the Surfside section of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Our shorefront offers you 7 miles of sandy beach, panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and amazing sunrises. Reviewed By RebelHeart8495I rented a room for my fiancé's birthday as a gift. We are both avid lovers of the beach and I decided it would be a great gift to relax and decompress from our busy lives. I was impressed with the hospitality and the staff. The staff were helpful and very nice while we stayed there. I rented one of the jacuzzi rooms which was great. Our first night wasn't so good. It was around 10pm when we noticed water leaking through a vent above our bed. Our bed was trenched with water from the above room which at the time was unoccupied. We were not offered new bedding or a discount on our room. We were forced to use the towels provided to try and soak up the water that had leaked in. My fiancé and I decided a walk on the beach would be great at night. We proceeded to go to the beach when we noticed two men, one on the balcony and another on the sidewalk (terrace) smoking cigarettes, they were not in designated smoking area. We noticed tons of cigarettes thrown all the over terrace. We also notice one lady in one of the above rooms sneak out her dog. Policy and the Abellona strictly forbids domestic pets. There was no staff to be found and multiple people who did not belong in the parking lot we there after dark. There were people bringing their dogs outside to use the bathroom. Jacuzzi room was good because of the jacuzzi, but room ceiling was very low, bathroom very small, and personally we feel the price was too much. Bed was off center and there was not box spring. The mattress was on top a frame without much support.

The Echo Motel is centrally located and within walking distance to the pier. Clean and comfortable motel units with or without kitchenettes are located 50 feet from the ocean with no streets to cross. All accommodations are reasonably priced.

The owners and staff were friendly, helpful, and obviously took pride in taking great care of the place --rooms and grounds were immaculate! The heated pool was a nice alternative when the ocean was too cold for swimming. Beach was just behind the motel and the pier a short walk away. Would DEFINITELY return!

Reviewed By Y3436BEtimaI would be willing to bet that if code enforcement inspected the walkways and decks on second floor ,they would fail, the staff was pleasant, but this place I could not stay at, pealing paint , rusted facia, very old and worn looking outdated rooms. The staff Was Friendly!! I just couldn't spend my money on a place so WORN LOOKING!!!!

This stay was very poor, no picnic table near our room, no grill near by, had to use the grill on the other side of the property, I left the grill in better condition then I found it. I.love swimming, not able to swim, the pool was barely running, not cleaned and garbage was all over the ground, sleeping was poor, the full size bed kept falling off the base. I witnessed many patrons waiting for someone to come to the office, new owners were no where to be found. The staff was very sketchy, drinking while on the job, one gentleman looked intoxicated !! I would never go back!!

Our property also has kitchenette units, Jacuzzi rooms and of course, ocean view rooms that will take your breath away. We are a beachfront property offering a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool for the entire family (children & adults) to enjoy and we offer a seasonal outdoor hot tub spa for adults (18 years of age and over). Bring your hamburgers and hot dogs because the grills are located poolside for your convenience. All rooms have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker along with free Wi-Fi and nationwide calling. The suites and kitchenettes are fully appointed ... just bring your clothing and food.

Gorgeous pool and hot tub (even if April is still too cold to use them!). Easy walking distance to the pier/amusement park/restaurants. Good parking setup. Hardwood floors in the room; large flat screen tv with channel guide, a fridge - we really had everything, and for an excellent value. Would recommend; will return!

Mt Royal Hotel in OOB
Reviewed By davidhorsemanStayed recently for 4 nites in conjunction with Ironman event. Try your best to avoid this Motel. Very seedy and I never felt clean. No window shade in bathroom window . Train tracks on one side and HUGE Amusenent right outside my door. Sand on my feet all the time when walking barefoot in room and I never went to beach. And to add insult to I jury they did not provide cable t.v. After asking around it appears most other properties do. 4 notes with taxes about $925.

Reviewed By c_crillySimple and clean . I think people in other reviews mistake “ocean views” with “ocean front”. It was good for a weekend get away and the beach was there . It was walking distance to the Pier and activity but far enough away from the noise except for the night of drunks playing cornhole in the parking lot and drinking outside of guests rooms . I agree people should have fun but that was a little too much and it didn’t seem to annoy the owners . It was otherwise a decent stay for a long weekend.
