Good Location & Comfortable

As it’s the last minute booking, we got the last unit left which is an inter-connected double bedroom unit, it got two sets of everything with a shared shower and toilet. Each room is quite large with beds, table & chairs, TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, plates and bowls, etc. most of things a traveler needs. Plunger and instant coffee, fresh milk, tea bags and biscuits are provided. It's nothing fancy at this place but it’s practical and clean, as well as comfortable. BTW, Shower water is good with plenty pressure. The TV in the room is rather small, with my eye sight, I won't be able to watch it from bed. But I'm not there to watch TV, so it's no drama.

We are amidst the buzzing town precinct within easy walking distance to outstanding restaurants (4 less than 300 metres), cellar doors & specialty shops. Mc Laren Vale Hotel (the pub) is 2 doors or 140 metres away. An ideal retreat for guests looking for short-term accommodation in the heaart one of the Great Wine Capitals of the World.

I would highly recommend for anyone who is keen to explore the many great attractions of McLaren Vale and the surrounding towns.

Fully hosted ...4 guest rooms each with own facilities... colonial style, set on small acreage. We are set on a vineyard and surrounded by almond trees and native gardens. We are a quality affordable accommodation within walking distance of cellar doors and fine dining experiences.

Reviewed By Clive MWe had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights and what an awesome place to stay .The owners Alan and Carol are the most delightful hosts ,they made you feel like family and were full of information on local sites to see .Alan is a great character full of funny stories and lovely just to talk to over a glass of his own rather tasty red wine .Breakfast was a delight every morning and nothing was too much trouble for Alan .The b+b's location is set off the main route to either Adelaide or Victor Harbor so an ideal place to stay .We cannot thank our host's enough for such a wonderful stay .If you want to stay i would you book early as it is becoming very popular !!

Reviewed By Danni FWhat a wonderful place! We just stayed at the gorgeous Colton Cottage and can't recommend it highly enough. The cottage was charming, well equipped with coffee machine, deep claw bath, complimentary wine and cider. The included breakfast was generous and delicious and we had to skip lunch because we were still full from breakfast. We had to depart early on our last morning and were provided with a breakfast basket which included everything you could think of. Location right next to the Shiraz trail in the heart of Mclaren Vale and a 5 - 10 min walk to the shops and restaurants. Can't wait to return. We loved every second of our stay.

Reviewed By BeverleyKapsWe spent 3 nights in Moscato Cottage and it was the perfect location to visit the wineries in the Mclaren Vale region, as well as a morning down on the coast. The cottage is absolutely delightful. The provisions that were supplied made for a very warm welcome and certainly saved us from having to be up and out early in the mornings to find breakfast. Warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, and really quite romantic. Best recommendation for an experience close by (walking distance) is to have lunch at Shingleback Winery. Such a fun and delicious lunch experience that was one of our most memorable experiences while travelling along "The Epicurean Way".

Welcome to Peppermint Farm Cottage self contained bed and breakfast accommodation in McLaren Vale for two to four guests. Children are most welcome. Sorry, no pets. Peppermint Farm Cottage is a local heritage listed pug building. The original mud walls were built in 1853. This historic building was lovingly restored in 2009 and now combines rustic charm with modern luxury. Located just 3 km from the McLaren Vale township, the Cottage is within a few kilometres of some of the regions best wineries and restaurants. Enjoy a romantic experience surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the Turra Parri Creek.

Bella Cosa Bed and Breakfast is set in the midst of the McLaren Vale wine region and offers two choices of accommodation . The Chapel is a romantic retreat for 1 couple. It has an in ground pool, outdoor BBQ area, mezzanine level bedroom overlooking the spacious lounge and dining area. The Cottage is a fully renovated 2 bedroom cottage house with a separate lounge room with wood fire, a large kitchen/dining area, a sparkling new bathroom and a Tuscan style outdoor entertaining area. Set on 5 acres of pine forest filled with art and sculptures and including plentiful breakfast provisions Bella Cosa is a delight.

Reviewed By bechudson27We loved our stay in “The Chapel”. The communication from the beginning was great, on arrival the key was waiting for us in a key box. The accomodation itself is so unique and has that “Mclaren Vale charm” about it. The breakfast supplied was fantastic, even gluten free bread and cereal. The pod machine coffee was some of the best coffee we had in SA - who knew pods could taste so good?!. The pool was a dream, the perfect size and area to relax after a big day of winery tastings. The bed comfy, the shower perfect. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
