Reviewed By jonas_155Very nice, very professional. We travel with kids so we had a suite with separate bedroom for the Gremlins. Excellent. Also good restaurant in the hotel, no actual need to eat at the tourist traps in the city centre. Parking under the hotel, pool in the hotel. Very professional and friendly staff.

Reviewed By FrancoPhile17This is a hotel that we return to as it is geographically in the right position for journeys South and for our returns North. Within two miles of the autoroute exit and located in the upcoming business district of Bezannes which is always quiet at the weekends. The rooms are functional and peaceful. Coupled with secure parking these are the plus points that we seek. Julie on reception was polite and helpful and gave the guidance that we needed at 2000hours on a Sunday evening. We have always found the reception team at Reims most pleasant. We normally book direct with the hotel and take breakfast on trips South when we have more time to relax.

A fabulous experience
Reviewed By 143GordonBI booked one night in this hotel when I was in Ludes and decided to stay in Reims. It was easy to book online and as usual I booked direct. I was attracted by the valet parking service and I was astounded that a member of staff was waiting as I arrived. It was not possible to drive to the entrance to the hotel and this was not a problem for us. The staff in the reception were so welcoming and helpful. We also met Benjamin the Chief Concierge. Benjamin is absolutely the best Clefs d'Or Concierge that I have ever met. He guided me where to go and what to do. I am ever so grateful for this. Inés was also helpful. Our room was facing the Cathedral and it was great to see. I was not disturbed by any noise from bells or from the street below. The room was compact and comfortable with good quality toiletries. Breakfast was good and well organised. My car was delivered by the valet and just before driving off I received a phone call from Benjamin telling me that I had left our passports in the safe in the room. Benjamin brought them to us. Priceless and we will be staying here again.

Reviewed By John LStayed two nights and would revisit this hotel if we return to this area. Friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfasts. Although the hotel does not have a dinning room for evening meals, there are very good restaurants nearby.

Reviewed By Peter LThis is perfect for a stopover. Near the motorway offering everything you would expect from a Campanile. Decent size room with comfy bed and good functional bathroom with all you need. Good soundproofing. Staff polite and efficient.

Reviewed By Jacqui MThe hotel is perfectly placed in L’Epine as we were driving to Austria. The manager phoned us asking if our time of arrival. Apparently they had sent an email giving us instructions on how to enter the property. Unfortunately we didn’t receive this so had to ring the bell when we arrived. He was there and check in was easy. We had a suite(room 2) overlooking the Basilica and onto the main road. Previous reviews have said the road was busy. There were a few lorries coming through but in honesty we didn’t hear them. The room was immaculate, a good size and very well presented bathroom and separate toilet. My only compliant is the pillows were very hard. But that is a personal thing. I usually taken my own and I forgot. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays(they did flag this up for us well in advance) which was a shame as we read it is excellent. We felt it was a bit late to drive into the next town of a Challon en Champagne after 10hrs on the road, but there are no facilities to eat in L’Epine . Luckily we had food in the car so we ate in our room. But keep this in mind if you stay there on Mondays and Tuesdays. Breakfast is disappointing. At €18.50 we would have expected a bigger choice. The coffee was Luke warm and served in a jug that is for everyone to use. A separate cafetière per table would have been nicer. Overall this is a very nice hotel to stay.

Typical Novotel but with a nice garden perfect for your pet…. and an overnight stop
Reviewed By David WWe stayed here as it is close to the Autoroute ( 5-10 mts) and we needed a place to break a long journey, and the Novotel was perfect in this respect. It has a huge garden and pool, perfect for a quick pee for your favorite pooch that has set in the car with you all day. Pleasant outdoor seating area, for an apero, good sized and good prepared restaurant, with a wide menu suiting many tastes. Good breakfast… Suprisingly peaceful, parking no problem, €15. Only gripe- some rooms the sun shines right in and they get warm - and the aircon is bad….does not work…..

Laid back, even if only for one night
Reviewed By CherbilOur first stay at the Chateau was last year, and as we were heading up through France to Calais this time, we really felt we deserved another stay. It was a delight to be upgraded to the same room we were in last time, complete with the views and creaking floor. We had missed the Orangerie last visit because it was closed, but had eaten so well at L'Atelier next door that we were having difficulty deciding which to do this time. What a shame the Orangerie was closed again (Mondays and Tuesdays). Back to L'Atelier, and another excellent meal. A good night's sleep and a really good champagne breakfast set us up for the onward drive. As we have family in France we can see this becoming a regular stop, and we really should extend the visit to at least two nights sometime.

Excellent value for money
Reviewed By Ken WFree secure parking firstly with camera surveillance, locked gate after 9pm which was excellent for our motorcycle. Friendly amenable service, requested extra pillows, not a problem at all. Air conditioned room with a comfortable bed and a superb shower. Good breakfast the next day. Hotel will supply you with a 15% off voucher for the Italian restaurant across the road but we chose the O Grand Buffet just up the road, unlimited, quality food, I'm talking langoustines and steak for around 20 euros. Close to exit roads to the motorway and also to tram stop if you want to go in to the city. An excellent place to stay.
