Reviewed By SmalgangenThe hotel is new and fresh with very good location. Sorry the rooms are so small... There are nowhere to put your stuff or the bedspread/extra pillows. Beds are comfortable and bathroom great. The included breakfast is tasty. If rooms were bigger I would have given it a higher score...

Tregde Ferie offers cabins and holiday apartments of a high standard. The resort is located in an idyllic setting with views of the Tregde archipelago just east of Mandal. Some of the apartments are located quayside along with a shop, a restaurant and a swimming pool. The other apartments and cabins are set back from the seafront on a hill, enjoying great views of the sea. The holiday centre offers boat as well as deep-sea fishing and sea rafting trips etc.

Reviewed By FotoexploreThe place is beautifully located in the archipelago at Tregde. Boat rental and everything is arranged for fishing and sea activities. We rented a cabin and in connection with a sports event in Mandal. Unfortunately the cabin was in such poor condition that we termed the whole thing as a mug. Closet doors fell off, mosquito nets hung and the hose bathroom was directly nasty and completely falling out. It should not be allowed to rent such. For information, the Slow Holiday Center has been confronted with criticism but has chosen not to respond. The place is nice but so is it. Sorry but I can't recommend this place again. It's expensive too.

Literally bed-room
Reviewed By EbruAWThis is an old building transformed to a hotel with a common area that has a kitchenette and a common bathroom. Apart from the gimmick that it is an old jail house, there is not much to the place. When we arrived we had to put the linen on the bed. The rooms, including ours were so small that if you have more than one bag, you'll have to struggle for space. Jail cells, remember!? And then something peculiar happened: We were the only people staying at the place. We took a shower in common bathroom and went out for dinner. We locked both our room door and the main door. When we came back, both doors were locked and I noticed that my shampoo bottle was gone. I asked the owners. Of course they did not know anything about it. Who could have entered the place and steal a bottle of shampoo, I do not know but it did not leave pleasant memories about the place. We are not going back. Mandal itself, though, is a nice small town and the beach is a short walk from the hotel.

Mones Feriesenter offers everything in one place – very modern apartments on the seafront, a fully licensed restaurant with delicious food in pleasant surroundings, a petrol station and a shop on site. The apartments are located in a holiday complex with its own beach, playground, communal jetty and barbeque. The area is child-friendly and is located right next to the pretty Skogsfjorden, 2.5 km west of Mandal. The apartments are light and airy. From the lounge and balcony you have great views of the fjord and the beach.

Reviewed By DDM95We have been to the apartment number 7 and it has been a great experience. Beautiful Place to stay, 3 tables, confortable sofa. The host was kind and the kitchen well furnished. Nice view to the sea and great swim there. I'd recommend It. p.s. bring your own blankets, if not you will need to pay 150kr per person.

Reviewed By Gumnar123Very professional and nice staff, clean, close to city centre, close to the beach and all the restaurants. Although be aware, make your booking way ahead in time. This is a popular place to stay. Most likely fully booked all summer.

Reviewed By 782KariCHytter på Sjøsanden er relativt dyre å leie. Greie senger, fin beliggenhet, sparsomt utstyrt kjøkken. I stua kun én sofa som sitteplass for 6 personer. Hyggelig personell. Nydelig Strand, flotte turområder, stille og rolig. Kort vei til minibutikk og grillkafé. Strandkaféen som tidligere hadde rikholdig meny, hadde kun fiskesuppe nå, og virket nedslitt.

Sommerferie Mandal på Solborg

På Solborg sommerpensjonat fikk vi god service, barna hadde eget rom, mens vi fikk bra rom med balkong. Beliggenhet er perfekt gangavstand til alt i Mandal. Vi føler vi fikk mye for pengene. ?

Hald is a bed & breakfast not far from the centre of Mandal. It has a 200 year old building with a lot of atmosphere, where you eat your breakfast. Hald offers double rooms and dormitories with or without bathroom. Hald is only open in the summer.

Reviewed By Hege007We were welcomed by a really serviceminded guy! Brought our own food which we prepared in the kitchen. Refridgerator in the kitchen. Shower and toilet in our room. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Took a nice stroll downtown, 15 min walk.
