Reviewed By Jim SThis 1950's motor lodge has been completely redone. Sweeping views, quiet and secluded. Nothing has been left over from the original other than the outside walls. Everywhere I looked I saw nothing but a recent rennovation. Huge sweepinng lawn that flows down to Highway 1 and to the ocean. Plentiful Adirondeck chairs perched on the lawn in front of your private deck, a fantastic place to stay. Nice staff.

Minutes away from everything - beaches, wineries, diving, hikes, Mendocino, breweries, good food - but quiet, relaxing, and fun, our housekeeping cabins and rooms are each entirely unique and reflect our love of everything vintage, salvage, rehabbed, and recycled.

I don’t know what i loved most - the comfy bed, clean and delightfully decorated cabin, beautiful grounds, adorable goats, or ridiculously fun owners. Our cabin “Read” had a little kitchenette and a wonderful fireplace with a cozy armchair perfect for curling up and reading by the fire. We made a simple breakfast every morning, then hung out, explored the gorgeous coast, poked around in town, or used the hot tub. Highly recommend.

Comprising 11 stand-alone cottages, the cozy, two-acre property is perfect for travelers who desire private accommodations, fireplaces, modern, full kitchens and baths, comfortable bedrooms and amazing ocean views. While our cottages are luxurious and our views are spectacular, we're still the best value on the Mendocino Coast. Come check us out soon!

Reviewed By creativity2001Very comfortable and reasonable price for the area. The cabins are laid out nicely and have really good amenities, including a full kitchen. We booked a cabin with a hot tub and the previous guests broke the hot tub. Geneva, who works for the hotel, called us while we were on the road. They were very accommodating and offered to put us up in a different property. We spent the first night in the original cabin we booked and they moved us to an upgraded cabin for the second night at new extra charge. In addition they gave us a partial refund for the first night. We were extremely satisfied with the way they handled it. We would stay here again. A couple of things to note, the cell phone reception is very spotty. We were not able to use our cell phones, however, we were able to link up to Internet which meant we could text and WhatsApp people. The second thing Is that it is a five minute drive to Mendocino which is not a problem.

Reviewed By randygeeA separate room but still not very private from other guests. Not a problem being away from town, as it is acutally closer to some excellent restaurants. You have to check in at an inn in Mendocino a about a mile away. They advertise a private beach and walkway across the road, but we never made it.
