Reviewed By 44TMack44Convenient to food and shopping. The staff is always friendly. We had a smoking room that smelled as fresh and clean as a regular room. They also have pet rooms and a nice pool area. The breakfast was more than just coffee and cereal which is a big plus.

Reviewed By sheilaw782I stayed here for the Lexington, NC Elvis Festival. Was close to Interstate 85. Very clean inside and out. My room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and efficient. I felt very safe here. Will definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By kgreeneRudest front desk EVER. I’m really disappointed to read that J** is still working here and treating people horribly. Management should not keep her on staff. She can lash out and actually scream over a basic concern. She has anger towards certain guests and it is unwarranted and nasty. Her name has actually become almost a family joke when we talk about rude customer service after she screamed at us in front of everyone. We always say, sarcastically, “but was the service up to J** standards?” Yes. It’s THAT bad. And we were just trying to enjoy a nice Father’s Day. Stay away at all costs! To this day, I have never been treated so poorly by any business establishment. So sad that she’s still at it, treating people like trash. I was hopeful that management would replace her after I told him of my experience. Clearly, our incident isn’t isolated.

Beds were comfortable....but that's about it

Called front desk - busy signal for ten minutes. Called front desk - said they would check on it and call me back. 40 minutes later they never called back. Called front desk again - sent someone to fix the problem. (Really nice lady.) Asked for extra pillows (due to medical condition) upon check-in. Was told they would be brought right up. Never were. Asked TV lady and she said they had "found two". Went to front desk to get them and was given one. Made do but slept like crap. Toilet in our bathroom was loose and rocked back and forth when you sat on it. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. (Trust me, when you've been on the road eating fast food and are sharing one bathroom between four people, that's a big deal.) The mini fridge in our room didn't work. At all. There was no trash can in the room itself. Only one tiny trashcan in the bathroom. One take out meal and the can was overflowing. Bathroom ceiling was dirty. Wall in the room was patched and never painted over. Ceiling was crumbling all around the edges. Pool was behind the hotel and you didn't need a keycard to get in. Open to the public? One large family was there in the pool and kept going back and forth to their car and talking about what time they had to leave to get home. (This was around 8:00 in the evening.) I got the impression (after their child popped a squat and peed in the parking lot) that they were not guests at the hotel, but I could be wrong. The third floor REEKED of marijuana at one point during our stay. The "Hot Breakfast" was a joke. The only hot component was waffles. Unfortunately, when I arrived at 7:00 for breakfast, there was only enough batter available to make 2 mini waffles. (The waffle maker made 4 at a time.) The other breakfast choices were slim. Cereal, bagel, orange, blueberry muffin or yogurt. The floor was sticky where someone had spilled juice. Plenty of road noise from the interstate. Especially big rigs going by. Is this hotel a dump? No. But it's also not "Excellent, Amazing or Super" as the latest reviews rave. I use tripadvisor reviews to make my decisions. These are some things I would like to have known about before I booked. I hope this helped.

We are only minutes from Bob Timberlake Gallery, Lexington 8 Cinema, the Davidson County Historical Museum and Childress Vineyard, not to mention miles from Richard Childress Racing, Catawba College and High Point Furniture Market. All rooms at Red Roof Inn Lexington, NC offer free Wi-Fi as well as a microwave and mini-refrigerator. Pets stay free!

Reviewed By Babyruth1990Over priced for what you get. The room was very clean! No coffee maker, no tissues, no hair dryer. No coffee in lobby, was told to go to McDonald's. Route 8 is in front of motel lot's of traffic noise. Will not stay at another Red Roof Inn.

Affordable Suites is an extended stay facility. Every suite features a separate bedroom, a full kitchen which includes 4 burner stove with oven, full sized refrigerator and freezer and microwave. The living room as well as the bedroom features a flat screen TV. Free WiFi. On site laundry facility. No pets are allowed.

After lots of time in Extended Stays having a separate bedroom and tv is great if my wife wants to go to bed or watch a different channel. 10 thumbs up to Beth and her staff.
