How can they charge $160 a night
Reviewed By Expattraveler100I understand it’s a standard hotel so lower my expectations but when you pay $160 for a Saturday night your expectations increase. The tile cloth carpets in the bedrooms feel icky - one soap so you have to take it from shower to hand sink, breakfast lady not friendly, tv is worst quality in any hotel I stayed in - this is just an average but expensive hotel. Not sure why, there’s nothing in Lavinia and not much more in Toccoa up there road?

Fishing Tournament
Reviewed By sharonpF1730TIMany middle and high school students from around Georgia had booked rooms at this hotel for the Bass Nation High School Fishing tournament. It is 4/24/21 and moved to 4/25 due to pending severe weather. General Manager Alyssa Romano refused my request and two corporate requests to just move the date of the rooms to the next day. They said bc they are independent franchises, they will not override the GM. This is making anglers pay almost $400 for two nights. They won’t refund the First night even when the tournament was postponed a day due to severe weather and most rooms will be empty or they will double dip and book them again. I will never stay here and advice others too as well.

Reviewed By Wander768288The room we were given was awful. The wood laminate on the dresser was curled up and peeling (later the manager said he knew about it but nothing had been done to fix it). There was hair and stains on the bathroom sink, the plug next to the sink did not work. The floor looked like it had not been cleaned and there was animal hair by the air conditioner. There was no extra roll of toilet paper and the bath tub had lots of dark stains like mold or something. When I tried to call the desk to complain the room phone would not even work. I complained in person when I turned in the room key but the manager did not apologize and just said he would look at the room. We should have gotten a discount or refund for being put into such an awful room..

Reviewed By Shanna AWe checked in at 2:20 am and didn’t get our room key til 3:30 am. And our rooms were bought online. I’ve traveled before and stayed in some places that weren’t the best but this tops it. It stinks has bugs and beds are saggy. The pillows are flat, our room didn’t have the necessities (like towels) and the floor in my room wasn’t even vacuumed. If you get an adjoining door be careful ours would even lock. I’m very disappointed by the treatment and quality of this hotel.

Reviewed By MedMikernThis was without a doubt the worst place I have stayed in the United States. I've stayed in third world countries that had better rooms than this place. The toilet paper roll was about empty with no extra one to replace it with, the bathroom door wouldn't close and the door knob was missing on the one side. The sheets were dirty and looked like they were never changed. The light receptacle was half broken off. The paint was peeling off the ceiling. The two lampshades were ripped. The "free" breakfast was coffee and granola bars. There was a pool but the water was black. We booked this room through Hotwire and will never use Hotwire ever again!!!

Property needs some serious upkeep
Reviewed By bwdouglas2014I reserved to non-smoking rooms. One of them was completely filled with the smell of smoke and had an ashtray on the desK. The pool was closed and looked disgusting and the hotel did not look like the website.
