Great hotel as a Stopover
Reviewed By themadmancWe were travelling from U.K. to Spain via a long drive through France and booked this hotel as a one night stopover. We were very dubious about a 2* hotel but thought it’s one night, we just need to sleep, we’ll take a chance as all the reviews were so good. We needn’t have worried. It’s basic, yes. But immaculately clean (and I’m fussy), huge double bed, bathroom was clean and functional with no mouldy silicone (I hate that) and the staff were absolutely fantastic. The young lady on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We were knackered and starving. She suggested a few restaurants and takeaways and we decided on a pizza delivery. She came and knocked on our door when it arrived and got us cutlery and crockery and a table in the breakfast room. Parking is plentiful right outside the hotel in their own parking lot and free. The bed was comfy, the location quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We were up and at breakfast for 6.30am next day. Again, blown away by the quality and quantity of breakfast. Pastries, cheese, ham, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and great coffee. And once again a friendly and helpful young lady looked after us at breakfast. Some reviews said they struggled finding it, we used ‘Waze’ and took us straight there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stopover and we’ll definitely use it again.

Reviewed By Jules_RichardsSituated just off the autoroute, this was the perfect one-night stop off on a trip home after working away. Found and booked on booking.com. Plenty of secure parking and friendly, efficient check-in made for good first impressions. Room was compact but more than adequate, complete with safe, complementary water, tea and coffee making facilities and good WiFi. There’s no evening resto but the place right next door, Hey Hey Restaurant, is excellent (also reviewed that). I was tired but the bed was very comfortable with an impressive range of pillows. Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with bacon, sausage, onion tortilla, cold meats and pastries. There was a variety of juices and even a contraption so I could squeeze fresh oranges which I did. Altogether a splendid start to the day after a cracking night’s sleep.

Reviewed By Vadim STerrible and one more time terrible! Friendly on the phone when booked two rooms for my family. Booking confirmed on the phone. My emailed request to confirm my booking in writing has remained ignored. On the day before arrival, we have phoned the hotel and asked to confirm our booking. They did not find the booking, asked us to send the request by email and disappeared at all. Without a hotel booking confirmation 20 hours prior arrival is somewhat risky to end up before hotel with no rooms to overnight in a busy city and after 5 hours driving. I would never ever neither stay with them nor recommend to someone else since they are simply not client oriented.

Reviewed By frankaB6530PFOK. I know F1 is a budget motel and I have used them in the past, but this was the worst. This branch has rooms with shared toilets/showers. Well we don't do that so I booked a room with private facilities. I expected that would mean there would be a towel in there? NO. They are 3 euro from reception and I've seen thicker, larger head scarves. They are a joke. Next pillows. I have never had a room with NO cases on the pillows. Here they just cover them with the bed sheet, and they are the worst pillows imaginable. Laying there couldn't help but notice the cobwebs on the ceiling/wall. Went to open the window and there was a bag of rotton fruit obviously left by a previous guest. Give this place a wide berth. Oh and as otheres have mentioned it is in an odd location.

The entertainment was great & all 3 of my children aged 7-14 were kept happy in the clubs & quickly made friends. The food at the pool bar area is good-especially the pizzas. Our mobile home was in a great condition & the air con was a treat from the heat. We can’t wait to return!
