The matter was finally rectified. Thank you Betty! Also Cade, the check-in clerk, was very friendly and helpful. My thanks to both of you! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Clean rooms and helpful staff.

STAY WITH US IN COMFORT Come to your best home away from home! Owned and Operated small 50′ style motel located in Lake Worth Beach, Florida on South Federal Hwy. The White Horse Motel is a small family (husband and wife) run motel with clean, newly renovated and very well maintained rooms, just north of Ocean Blvd in Lantana. Parking is on the side street (handicap parking available) in front of the pool with handicap lift. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. for yourself what makes our rooms second-to-one. Office is located 20 ft from the parking lot. To enter our small office you have to overcome a step and narrow door. After check-in, our rooms are located 30 feet from the office. To get to the room you have to overcome a step in the hallway and then the second one at the entrance to the room. The door to the room measures 30 inches in width. Rooms are 289 sq feet, including a small bathroom measuring 31 sq feet. The bathrooms have a shower with a grab bar, toilet and sink but access to it is limited by a narrow door (24inches).Our motel do not comply with the 1991 Standards.

From the outside, one would never know how nice the room would be. When I open the door, I was extremely pleased! Modern, sparkling clean, big refrigerator, 50” new TV, great bed w good pillows and super quiet a/c and blackout shades. I slept like a baby and in the morning, got some “tune up” tanning done at the spiffy little pool w comfy lounge chairs. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

The property is really charming, there's an atmosphere of friendliness among the guests, Chet the owner is very attentive to the property and his guests, and his breakfasts are great! The location is convenient to the restaurants in Lake Worth and to the public beach at Lake Worth Beach. It's also only a short (maybe 10 minute) drive up to billionaires' row in Palm Beach.

The first thing you notice is the musty smell in the living room and the mildew stains on the ceiling, so if you have allergies be aware. The breakfast isn’t served until 9am and they give it to you whether you’re ready or not. It was supposed to be a frittata but I’ve never had a frittata that looked or tasted like that. More of a custard thing and not very good at all. God help you if you ask for something else. Furnishings are dated and Angela is fine as long as you do everything her way. We’ll not be back.

Reviewed By 358agnespThis is an extended stay hotel and I was only booking 3 nights. Our room had a kitchen but no dishes/pots or any utensils The beds had no blankets and none were available, only 2 towels were provided. No hair dyer. When i asked for more towels I was told housekeeping was bi-weekly but I could wash them at the coin laundry on site. On day 2 we awoke to roaches in the bathroom. When the desk was notified I was told It would be taken care of on Monday. I declined to change to another room as I expected bugs there too.

Reviewed By mnsparkyThis property is unsafe and unsanitary.Avoid it! The smoke detector did not have a battery. The sheets had burn holes in them. The bathroom door did not have an operating handle. The lamination on the door was split open. There was a can of deodorizer to mask the smell of urine. There was a half of torn curtain that was serving as the door on the closet. And there was food under the bed and a dirty cup under the counter. The only lighting was in a bedside table that you lifted the glass and flipped a switch to make a bulb glow underneath.

The name of the hotel is not the same as the name listed on hotels.com. The woman argued that is was told to us beforehand. The place smelled. The towels were old and so small. Do not stay here.

Reviewed By mattw297Horrible and dirty hotel with bugs and staff is rude. I got bite by bugs when I was sleeping. Called the front desk to tell them and they hung up on me twice. Very rude people that run a dirty motel where most of the people that where staying there looked very suspicious.

Reviewed By kathleenbW6155FGWe were very pleased with our one bedroom apartment. The kitchen had enough pots, plates and utensils for us to cook two meals. The facility and our room were spotless. The bed could have been more comfortable but wasn’t bad. The courtyard was a great place to drink my morning coffee. You can’t beat it for the price.
