A HAND HELD SHOWER THAT WORKS!!
Reviewed By ELHS220I had intended to spend the night in Andorra, but the traffic and impossible parking conditions sent me back to Seu d'Urgell (note: the hotel is in Seu d'Urgell, in the PROVINCE of Lleida, not in the CITY of Lleida, as the address given in the listing might lead you to believe), where I found the "Avenida". The hotel is located on Pau Claris, 24, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral and the old town. I found on street free parking on a nearby side street (exit hotel, turn left, cross Pau Claris, and continue down that side street. It's a one-way street and there is parking on both sides.). I was given a large room with two twin beds with the usual double doors that overlooked the street. The bed was comfortable, aside from the fact that a standard twin is just too short for my long legs. Furnishings were fine and everything was very clean. The bathroom was fine, and contained the room's crown jewel: a hand held shower that works perfectly. There is a vertical safety bar on the end wall, and this bar serves as the mount for the shower head. The shower mount slides up and down on the bar, and this allows you to position it vertically to match your height. It also swivels back and allows you to adjust direction of the water flow. Shower curtain is high and very little water made it onto the floor. The room charge was 38 euros, a bit high for one person. I give the place a five in all the categories and hope that you will add the hotel to the website.

Reviewed By luc0livierlThe building is beautiful, very incredible large terrasse protected with a high roof on columns giving on an in city very luxurious garden. All the commun places are decorated with large collections of old objects that give them to be curiosity to discover. Room was very pleasant. The staff very kind. The breakfast a real meal.

Budget hotel for sure, but I liked the staff
Reviewed By trenlongI think it may have been harder if I didnt speak spanish, but I enjoyed the staff. They were a bit quirky but I found them to be friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is fine, the internet was a bit spotty, and there was no air conditioning so dealing with the late summer flies was a pain, but the breakfast coffee was great, the pool is clean, cold, and delightful, and the views were beautiful.

Reviewed By Duchess46If you are anywhere near this extremely beautiful part of Spain you must stay at this hotel to experience Spanish hospitality at it's BEST. Professional welcome, English and French spoken if needed. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, TV, excellent bathroom, lashings of hot water, large bath towels, complimentary shampoos etc. A Great, Value for money experience.. Now for the restaurant ! Large dining room for functions etc., adjoined to a more convivial dining area for couples or families. Excellent welcome, tapas, fine beers and wines are all offered whilst you make your selection from the fabulous Catalan/Spanish menu. ( all translated ). Our Starters were, roasted mixed peppers, broad bean soup, seafood consommé and Bacalou, all Catalan dishes and all savoured with relish by our group. Mains; Steaks and Conejo, all accompanied with vegetables and patatas fritas, all perfectly cooked and served. The restaurant manager suggested two Spanish wines which were both very palatable. Desserts were superb. Now for the nitty gritty... The entire meal for four adults including, tapas, apperro's, wines and digestive brandies was 160 euros. We congratulate the staff and management of this excellent hotel and we would highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic place to stay in the mountains
Reviewed By benito14My girlfriend and I spent a great weekend at Masia d'en Valentí back in December. We had a really good time and were made to feel extremely welcome by the owners. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, comfortable with both a modern and rustic feel. Furthermore, the restaurant is great and offers delicious local, home-cooked food with products sourced from nearby, delicious! We would definitely consider returning for another weekend in future.
