'Le petit Figuier' is a B&B in a beautiful old XVIII century house in the centre of a village known for its big 4-week summer music festival. The garden is small, but perfectly formed, quiet and private, with a nice pool, water feature, a couple of fig and olive trees, lavender, lovely flowers. Breakfast is served on the terrace. The rooms are decorated in a nice French/Scandinavian style. There is a bath robe for each guest. Hairdryer in both shower rooms. Bedroom 1: Tamara Room: king bed, day-bed, en-suite shower rooms, A/C, small balcony with lovely views. Bedroom 2: Rose Room: 2 single beds, day-bed, private shower room, private separate toilet, A/C, nice views from the window. NB! Minimum stay - 2 nights! NB! Both bedrooms are on the 2nd floor! We have a young happy Golden Retriever, but we do not accept pets! Our house is not suitable for young children! We have a no-smoking policy! Wi-Fi. Breakfast and tourist tax are included in the price. We do not accept credit cards.
A quiet Provencal oasis
Reviewed By fionai2017Our first visit to Provence, we stayed at Le Petit Figuier for 3 nights. It was exactly what we were looking for. Quaint and comfortable with really lovely hosts. Delicious breakfast served in the garden with Max the dog in attendance. The village is very quiet, which was lovely; the two restaurants we ate at were excellent and just a couple of minutes walk from the house. Thank you Graham and Lis for making us so welcome... We will be back!

An ideal family break!
Reviewed By Benoit MWe've spend five wonderful days at "Le Mas de la Sauline" with our two kids in late August. Great and relaxing place, very spacious and clean bedrooms, amazing breakfasts with home made marmalade and delicious pastries. Sophie, our hostess, has always been smily and helpful, discreet but always there when needed. The kids absolutely loved being surrounded by horses, dogs and cats and the lovely swimming pool was always a welcome refreshment in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone wanting to discover this part of Provence!

Eden Roque is a guest house with pool and spa ideally located between Lourmarin and Aix en Provence. In the heart of the village, we would be pleased to welcome you to our renovated house from the seventeenth century, with two guest rooms (one with air conditioning) and one fully equipped independent apartment. You can enjoy a shared area that includes a living room with a wood stove, a library and a big screen TV. Lazy days can be spent at the house patio, relaxing in the pool, the spa, or the bar lounge. Generous breakfasts composed of fresh products will be served on the terrace. WIFI is available in the entire house.
Better than expected
Reviewed By GoragoragoraIt was spontaneous trip. My friend found this place on airbnb. We arrived quite late but its wasn't a problem at all. The owner waited for us and welcomed us very worm. He asked if we want to use spa even though it was late (around 10pm). The flat we rented was beautiful. Brand new and very clean with all basic essentials. The owners are very helpful and if you need anything then ask. They will always help you. Fernando asked us if we want to go on a bike trip with him. He has electric bikes which i never used before. It was so much fun. I would definitely go there again. The owners are lovely, They have lovely dog. The place its nice, clean and brand new. The village is quiet and nice with beautiful surrounding. One of the best places i ever stayed.

Great B&B in the heart of Provence
Reviewed By Trav_1001This charming and comfortable B&B is located 5 minutes walking distance from Chateau de Flores, the site of Leroq de Anteron Festival and just as close to top-notch restaurant row. Having sampled almost all of the establishments there, we can comfortably compare them to the best eateries in much larger cities. Nicole the proprietor is warm and friendly, is fluent in English and serves a great breakfast in a romantic courtyard. Aix-le-Provence is 40 minutes away by bus (EUR1.20 fare p/p is payable to the driver). We would recommend this option rather than driving into Aix since parking there is an issue. From Aix there are other buses to places like Avignon and Marseille, fares being equally inexpensive; if you want to explore the immediate surroundings, you will be better off with a car since you can park outside small local villages for free and just walk to centre ville. Overall Great location to take in some classical music and explore Provence

Reviewed By Jelmer GWe had a great 2 week holiday here. From this location the Luberon villages and the cities of the Provence are easily reached. Within the hour you are on the beach of the Med. The pool and little swim lake are good. The waterslide needs reparation and was closed for most of the time unfortunately. Well stocked market on the site with fresh bread daily. Entertainment every night (karaoke, disco, music performances even circus). Only downside is the restaurant. Pizzas ok but eating out was not great because of very loud music in- and outside, errors in the orders, cold hamburgers etc.

Roque Blanc is ideally placed to visit provence, very central, close to both Vaucluse and the Luberon and Bouches du Rhone and only half an hour from the railway station and the airport. You will enjoy the pool and its superbe jacuzzi.
Overpriced....yet had a pleasant trip.
Reviewed By h88naWe stayed at the Roque Blanc during the height of summer. After a long 15hr journey from the UK via Geneva, we arrived and were disappointed in the property. It requires a little t.l.c. The beds were uncomfortable. Some bits of furniture were covered in dust. We were also not permitted to use the BBQ due to fire hazards. Instead we were given a worktop grill to use. Via email we were advised that there is a lovely pool in the property. When we arrived our excitement was dampened by being told - its a communal pool!..we were then advised of the house/ pool rules. We were luckily given linen/towels (usually charged), which we had to collect from the pool area and then go on to make our own beds. We were then told that on top of the fee we paid to stay a week here, we also had a pay a house cleaning charge at the end of €60. The website is misleading. Also communications with Michel (the owner) was not clear. I asked him if the pool was solely for us or was it a communal pool? His response was " yes lovely beautiful pool with jacuzzi!" The property was issued to us with no amenities in the kitchen I.e. Bin bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, tea towels etc. Luckily I had corresponded with the owner and I brought along all the kitchen items inc. toilet rolls. The owner stated to me due to health and safety nothing is left in the property. "Jacuzzi" was available in the pool but was on a timer. It bubbled for 5 minutes every hour!!. The pool itself was beautiful but cold. The sun loungers were available if you arrived early. It's a shame there is not a drinks/snack bar near the pool. Wifi is also available only near the pool area. Despite all this whenever we spent the day at the pool, the fellow residents were very nice. Also some days we had the pool to ourselves. Also be warned of the wondering 3 dogs and a cat around the pool/properties. If you are not an animal lover, do not fret as these animals are very pleasant. They do not bother you in the slightest. We were pleased to spot good local supermarkets including a LIDL and a Spar available minutes from the property. If you drive further along into the local village there are Pizza restaurants, chemist, patisserie etc. Despite a shakey start to our holiday. We had a lovely stay in Roque du Atheron. The area is beautiful and a good place to stay and explore the surrounding area with children/families. To do this a car is advisable as there are no public transport facilities in this area. We will definitely return as we had a great time! It's the perfect place for peace and quiet.
