Slight issue with toilet flush, but was fixed immediately. Breakfast is always cold, on purpose. Consisting of fried eggs (cold), noodles, rice, pastries and toast. A home full of kindness
Reviewed By moninmyanmarI stayed there for two weekends in this modest yet homey and heart-warming place last year. Miss Kim (a truly inspiring woman who I still talk to online often), her husband and everyone there could not have been more hospitable. They helped us hire tuk-tuks, booked buses at discounted prices and even offered me one of their bikes for free to ride around Hpa-an (and that especially allowed me to escape from dogs that chased after me) . The breakfast would be superb for you if you enjoy surprises - the food was different every morning and consisted of local cuisine. You could even ask them to prepare extra food any time of the day. The furnishings are not particularly aesthetic, but they are sufficient to fulfill basic needs. Going up to the rooftop and enjoying a panoramic view of Hpa-an was a lovely experience. Hope to return some day and visit the people there!

Reviewed By 573maggiemFriendly staff. Room was clean and all the basics were covered. Aircon worked. Bed quite firm but I prefer that. Some people would dislike it. Bathroom was clean and water pressure ok. A couple of power cuts while I was there but the generator kicked in quickly. Breakfast buffet service let the hotel down. Kitchen staff didn’t keep an eye on what was running out, including plates, so I had to ask for things regularly. Breakfast was only adequate.

Reviewed By Klnwelocation is great. room are big eve though we stayed in standard room. Room Rates are economy. Buffet breakfast including but very budgeted restricted version we had with vegetarian breakfast.swimming pool is great.

Reviewed By 317lindsycWe LOVED the Keinnara! After choosing to stay in Myanmar during the first covid lockdown, it was the perfect getaway from Yangon. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect and we felt instantly at ease. The staff were wonderful, from the front desk staff to the garden staff, and they did everything they could to make our stay great. The food was varied and delicious and the buffet breakfast was not only yummy but beautifully displayed with candles and everything was clean. Actually, everywhere was clean. The cabin was gorgeous and spotless as was the rest of the site. The gardens are well maintained and managed and the whole place speaks of attention to detail and owners who care and have high expectations. The pool was a perfect place to relax after a long hike. I am so glad that we chose Keinnara after considering the other hotels nearby. The log cabin room was stunning and and a nice reminder of the local culture.Our view of Zwekabin was ideal and we spent many hours on the balcony, listening to the rain and soaking up the atmosohere. We decided to stay another night as we just couldn't bring ourselves to leave.

Unfortunately monsoon rain kept coming in and the small city of Hpa-An went flooded. An official government warning advised us to rethink our travel plans. I called the hotel and explained the situation and the hotel owner was very understanding. He asked me what he could do for us. And subsequently accepted our late cancellation. I would like to give my highest regards to this very fair and friendly handling of the weahter-related situation. Thanks so much we will be coming back to you

Week get away from Yangon
Reviewed By DiveoptionsWanting some tranquility, the four of us headed out to Hpa An, 2 humans , 2 cats. My Hpa-An Residence by Amata, was the only pet friendly resort we could find and they looked after our cats as well as they looked after us. Its a about 20 cabins set in a rubber tree plantation with the big cliff face, rising above you. The pool is ideally located and I spent a fair time lolling about watching the surroundings. The room was large and very comfortable, everything was clean and worked well. The food was really very good, I don't have a bad thing to say. In particular I want to say how absolutely wonderful and welcoming all the staff were, especially Miss Swe, the GM who could not have been more helpful and charming and also Khon Tun Wai who appeared to live simply to make our lives easier. We all wish to thank you for our lovely and peaceful stay and to be able to see the natural wonders of Hpa An.
