Fantastic rooftop terrace
Reviewed By robvD2951BYWe only stayed one night after arrival at the airport before picking up our camper. We were cordially received at the rooftop and had a pleasant conversation with our friendly and adventurous hosts. We finished our first bottle of Spanish wine, while we whitnessed the sunset. Our appartment was surprisingly large: the hallway measured 1x4 meter, the bathroom 3x4, the sittingroom 4x4 and the sleepingroom also 4x4. Everything was clean and stylish. The following morning we received an extensive breakfast on the rooftop while enjoying an interesting conversation with another guest while admireing the sun rise. We can hole hartedly recemmend this place. Good value for money.

La Fonda is located 6 km from the Gran Canaria Airport, La Fonda has rooms with shared bathroom but also has complete apartments, with bathroom and kitchen. We offer a wide range of rates that will undoubtedly be adapted to your needs, for short or longer stays. There is free wifi throughout the establishment. On the roof of the building we have a solarium furnished with hammocks and showers. Free private parking is provided. Our establishment has a cafeteria-restaurant from 08:00 to 01:30. There are also several supermarkets and shops in the immediate vicinity, as well as bus stops and taxis.
Lovely place
Reviewed By SallyM1454We had to book a room last minute due to complications with covid paperwork. We booked and we got clear instructions of what to do when we arrived which was fab. We arrived and was shown to our room which was lovely and clean. We had access to a bathroom which was also spotless. Would defo recommend.

Somewhere and something different
Reviewed By stevecK3837SMI wanted to do something different with my partner for a special. landmark birthday and a friend recommended Casas Rurales de Guayadeque as he and his wife loved their two stays there. My partner and I loved our stay there, it is so tranquil and peaceful and there are some lovely walks close to hand. The facilities were excellent. We highly recommend this.

The isolation in the mountains is idyllic, but with the island being so small you are never far from anywhere. Rafael and Monique were wonderful hosts and made you feel so welcome in the property, whilst being respectful of your privacy. It is so pleasing to see the care and attention that has been put into the property by Rafael and Monique to make the property enjoyable and "fit for purpose" for a holiday in the sun. The views over the valley from any of the three terraces are spectacular and worth the admission price alone! We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property. Yes, it is a little on the pricey side, but just look at what you are getting. Three separate terraces and a genuine "rustic" property that provides such a welcome when you get back from your day's trips and travels. Wi-Fi was fine for phone and tablets, but not strong enough in the evening for Firestick TV. Mercadona supermarket near by in Ingenio. There is a large drive to park the car, but make sure you reverse into the drive. Clutch can get smokey trying to reverse up the drive! Space is very tight to get turned around on the narrow road to get parked. There were dogs barking during the evening that upset the perfect tranquility, but better than rowdy beer swilling holiday makers! There were a number of flies around the property, so get some fly spray for the evening. No electric kettle and cooking is difficult when there is only a hob and microwave. Rustic, yes, but some evenings you just want to eat in and enjoy the property,terraces and views. A cooker/oven would have been preferred.
