Days Inn by Wyndham Indio is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Indio, offering a budget friendly environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our breakfast amenity has been temporarily suspended until further notice. Our guest rooms are equipped with a flat screen TV powered by DirectTV, air-conditioning, a mini fridge, a microwave, guest iron and ironing boards, a hairdyrer, a work desk with desk chair and free WiFi. Our single King beds also include a mini coffee table and a comfortable 2-seater couch. The hotel is conveniently located off the I-10 freeway, located near many attractions such as the Riverside County Fairgrounds (1.4mi), Shields Date Garden (2.6mi), Empire Polo Grounds (venue for Coachella Music Festival / Stage Coach / Horse Racing) (4mi), Joshua Tree National Park (27mi) and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (30mi). The hotel also offers 24/7 front desk service, free guest parking, and access to the pool/spa with outdoor furniture. Plus, we get breakfast in morning and I get my coffee!!! I also received an AAA Member discount on price of my room.

Located off I-10 at the Monroe Street exit, we're within 20 miles of approximately 100 golf courses and 19 miles from Palm Springs International Airport. Fill up on our free hot breakfast each morning. WiFi is also included in your stay as well as access to our heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, 24-hour fitness center and large meeting room.

Reviewed By Kinney1125Last minute hotel stay. This is a seedy “motel”. This is a hotel for men who share one room. The front desk did not smile or ask how we were but seemed frustrated that we were checking in. Didn’t look up at me once.The room was ok, bedding for pull out bed was dirty and thrown in bag. I called to get new bedding they didn’t bring up until an hour later. staff were rude and lazy. The lady for breakfast was pissed off she had to stand up and work. Literally looked angry. The whole pool area smelled with marijuana from the men hanging around. We were in an emergency situation due to family illness we would have left but had no other choice.

very dim lighting
Reviewed By hugh bI have never seen such a dimly lit bathroom. when I first turned on a switch, I was thinking its a night light so you can find the bathroom, but the other switch was for a fan and dim light over the shower. I was not even going to try to shave. the locking latch on door was not working. In fact... all the room lighting is dim.

Reviewed By barbaral881Very nice to spend a night on our way to Arizona. Room clean and bathroom spacious. The toiletries were top notch. Breakfast had plea Tuesday of options. Staff all friendly and helpful. Only negative is location. Only cone option for dinner without driving off property.

The room exceeded our expectations it was good size and the shower was incredible! The family who run this hotel work hard to make improvements and always on hand to help. The pool was welcomed for cooling off and free breakfast were also grateful for. The price is very reasonable and we felt very much at home here for the week. Dry Golf Course
Reviewed By LnS2004It’s a good thing we played here first on a two-day Palm Springs golf outing. This is because the day after playing here, for the exact same discounted green fee booked online, we played at a picturesque, well-maintained resort course that came with GPS equipped carts, bucket of ice for cold drinks, towel for club cleaning, on-course beverage cart service, good signage, scenic vista, all of which we did not receive here! And this course is far from our hotel in Palm Desert. It’d have been miserable if our course playing order were reversed. Sure, this quaint course proudly boasted of its long history dating to 1947 and the layout of the Mountain course was a relatively easy, and forgiving. And we almost had the course to ourselves - it’s practically deserted. It’s hard, however, to overlook the neglected condition as evidenced by the dry, parched greens, most obvious playing the Indian course. In other parts, grass was left too long making errant balls hard to find. The score cards without maps made first time visitors ignorant of water hazards until coming upon them, like the moat guarding the Mountain 5th hole. In one hole, access the hole via a bridge was flooded. Tee markers (two uneven size rocks) were often hard to find. Overall, it was not a pleasant golfing experience on a super hot day.

Not quite horrible; just not good
Reviewed By kmcatchca1One night only, gave me a headache. One overhead light only in room; one fixture next to bed on one side, but no bulb or lightin/from that. Bathroom light had fan option only- no "sneaking in" there during the night. No hot water as far as I could tell. I endured a cold spritz only in the cold morning. THis hotel seemed safe. Temperature was pleasant. I didn't use any temperature modifiers. Tobacco free. Close to my destination of Joshua Tree National Park. Pleasantly indifferent managers. Seemed fairly clean, but couldn't really tell. Bed was clean, no bugs of any kind. Bed seemed fairly new- no lumps. Too firm for me, but not bad. Parking lot mostly torn up. Lots of dust from that. I was charged "regular" rates for this room with some poor conditions. I should have made an internet arrangement before arriving in Indio, CA. This place was showing 4 stars when I looked on Expedia! I'd give it 2 stars at most, based on my experience. Riverside Fair going on. Freight trains going by but across the road. Loud people outside at 3 AM for a while.A At least nobody was above me. Managers pleasant and relaxed. Next time, I would try a different hotel.
