Great hotel, fantastic view

Great rooms with a fantastic view of the ocean (assuming you get a room on the "right" side of the building), comfy bed, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, effective cleaning service. Ice machine in the hall. I also like that they have kept the mini bar fridges, now empty, but still powered.

Runde Miljosenter offers apartments and rooms for accommodation. The apartments are brand new and modern, with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, a double room, a single room and a double sleeping couch in the living room. Clean, spacious, wonderful
Reviewed By PirividiteWe rented a flat at Runde for one night, and wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The flat was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view. A seagull came to watch us through the livingroom vindow, and we enjoyed both the cafe in the visitors centre (great cakes!) and the beaches close by (we had extremely good summer weather). The visitor centre can arrange for boat trips to the bird colonies, and we observed both puffins and Eagles.

Very nice view, but would need a bit more cleaning
Reviewed By Daniele AVery nice place to stay for the view, but the Hytter we had needed a bit more cleaning, it probably was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. The place is very beautiful, but isn't for people staying for a night or two. This is more of the kind of place where you go for a longer stay and take your bedsheets. The ones that we were given looked like they had been used much to many times (color was washed out, there were holes, etc.).

Velkommen til Kjeldsund Leirstad og gjestegard! Kjeldsund Ungdomssenter er perlen i den Sunnmørske skjærgården. Vi har en nydelig beliggenhet i idylliske omgivelser og en rekke severdigheter i nærområdet, blant annet Fugleøya Runde, Herøy kystmuseum og Ishavsmuseet i Brandal. Kjeldsund har historie tilbake til 1600 tallet og er kjent for god mat og personlig service. Vi mottar gjester til overnatting, konferanser, selskap, bryllups- eller konfirmasjonsmiddag, retreat, møter, menighets- eller familieweekend, og leirer for barn, ungdom eller voksne. Her er det flust med muligheter! Kjeldsund drives og eies av Det Norske Misjonsselskap (NMS) og er medlem i NM-hotels (alkoholfri).
