The hotel is clean, pretty new, and outwardly fine. We had a suite and layout/ accommodation was nice. 1 of 4 ice makers worked and the laundry was out of order. Free breakfast was a notch above most. Try the cinnamon roll.

Beautiful grounds and rooms, docks were disappointing

Reviewed By charlienora

The resort is located in a beautiful area with a great view of the Little Red River. Our room (#14) was large, had high ceilings, a dining table, and a kitchenette. The back door opened up to the pool area. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. HOWEVER, I was highly disappointed with the docks at the resort. There are three total. We fished off two of them. They are in complete disrepair and are clearly not being maintained. There were TONS of holes, missing boards, rotten boards, etc. It was actually very dangerous and a big liability for the resort. I'm not sure why they are not maintaing these at all?

Very worn

Very worn exterior. The room was worse. It's like there is no housekeeping. Hair in shower, broken plastic pieces on the floor. Breakfast was very minimal. I don't believe the current rating. I could not find anyone at checkout to let know of the problems

Don't Stay Here

Reviewed By K7471YRstevenm

Don't repeat my mistake and stay at this place. My room had no hot water, none, zip, zero. One of the "clean" towels had a stain on it that appeared to have been dried blood. It was a small stain, easily overlooked when someone does laundry who does not care about their job. Even on its highest setting the room heater did not keep the room warm. Door does not have molding or seal well so there was a constant draft in the room. I'll not stay there again.

Run Run Run Away

I got a prepaid deal through Hotels.com and when I went to check in the manager couldn’t find reservation. After multiple tries and showing him email confirmation he found it. Keep in mind he is smoking and the lobby was dump and smelled like an ashtray. Also he was unshaven and looked like he just woke up only it was 5:30 pm. Anyway back to the experience the manager said I don’t have king room available but I have a double I said ok. Then the manager said I have to pay again and more. After arguing for a awhile I pulled up the double on Hotels.com same price as the king and that sent him over the top lol. So I called Hotels.com and they called the manager and he said NO! Hotels.com refunded my money and I spent nice night at the Quality Inn in Heber Springs, which I recommend. Avoid the OYO Hotel in Heber Springs there was so much smoke in the lobby I had to change my clothes after I left. It’s very dirty and a bad experience. Thank You Hotels.com for taking care of me
