Stayed here for one night on our way to northeast, Ohio. Absolutely wonderful experience. First, check-in was swift, touchless, and covid precautions were in full-force. Credit card machines were on tables about three feet away from the front of the counter, and there were huge plexi-glass screens separating us from the person checking us in. The room (with two queen beds) was drop-dead spotless. The hotel is, I think, less than two years old, so décor was pleasant, modern, and still very fresh. The stars of the show, however, were the beds...super comfortable with high-end bedding. We both had a great night's sleep. Unlike a lot of more expensive places we've stayed at, none of the furniture was chipped up or broken; everything was in top-notch condition. While it hardly warrants a mention, there were two slightly annoying things. First, one of the bedside lights was burned out (a pet peeve of mine), and second, the bath gel in the shower was empty. While these are really no big deal, I do believe that housekeeping should check to make sure every light in the room works before they move on to the next room...same with bath products. Again, this in no way diminished the quality of our stay; I'm just mentioning it in case management reads this and would like to address housekeeping about it. We were in room 420. We also really liked the location. No, it's not in the heart of everything....you have to drive about a mile to restaurants and shops....but that's what we liked about it. There was no traffic noise or congestion at all....just peace and quiet. Overall we had an excellent experience, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The price ($79) was far below what we've paid for other hotels in the same category, while the quality was, in many cases, far better.

No problems - great property!

I stayed here in both August and October. Property is great! The ladies of all shifts at the front desk are super friendly and fun to talk to. The rooms are very well appointed and spacious. I especially took advantage of the great work space and in-room coffee makers. Housekeeping was very accommodating. This will be my go-to hotel when in Heath/Newark.

Avoid This Place!

My friend had been driving all day and it was getting late, close to 9pm and he was tired. We looked for places via Garmin but none panned out. Too high, not the advertised price on Tripadviser or bad area of town. Finally he stopped at this place out of desperation. Got a room with two beds. Now, he is not hard at all to please when it comes to cheap accommodations but I knew we were in trouble when he opened the door and said, "This isn't as bad as I had expected". I kept looking for Norman Bates and the house up on the hill. There was a refrigerator and a microwave, not the cleanest and I wouldn't have heated up anything even if I had it. No box springs, juts a well worn mattress on a flat frame. Blankets and sheets were threadbare and well worn,no carpet which was probably a good thing. The A/C unit was filthy and rusty. The bathroom was a little clean but the shower curtain was nasty and the bathtub faucet was dripping constantly. The taps were rusty as well, probably the cause of the dripping. A few doors down when we first got to the room there was a white woman seated in the passenger seat of a car smoking a cigarette and cursing loudly at a black man who I figured was her companion. Once in the room we heard knocking on the door. I wasn't about to open it but looking out the curtains there was a little boy about 3 years old knocking on doors! Out alone at 9:30pm knocking on doors? Really? Where are the parents, excuse me, idiots who would let a 3 year old out at this time of night in this area. Most of the night there were cars going by in the parking lot and lots of talking going on outside, easily heard in the room when trying to sleep. The price was $75 a night, way too high for a dump like this. Three nights earlier we stayed at a totally updated and remodeled Red Roof Inn for only $66. If you are a truck driver needing a place to sleep with a roof over your head, this place might do to crash but I would tell anyone else to avoid this skid row type of place. The photos on their website don't show the real picture.

The place was dirty and poorly maintained. The room was worn and broken down. There wasn’t even a plastic cup so I could brush my teeth. The bed was comfortable but I didn’t even take off my socks or shower in the morning. I got up, put on my pants and left.
