A hotel you will always feel welcome in from a staff with great commitment, smiles and unique service, along with great food for breakfast and dinner you will always want to return.

Reviewed By mike_henderson77Great Hotel with awesome breakfast. Stayed her for a couple of nights during a business trip. Very comfortable room with all the mod cons and located next to the port. Only downfall was lack of parking which led me to receiving a ticket but that’s not hotels fault. Hope to return to this area one day and certainly will book into the Thon.

Reviewed By Matt-the-engineerI have recently stayed for 2 weeks here whilst working nearby. The guest house is excellent. Well decorated, maintained and cleaned regularly. Fuat (the manager) is friendly, organised and helpful. I could not have wished for a better stay and have nothing bad to say about this place. I would recommend to anyone I know and those I do not. I spend a great deal of time in hotels due to work and this is better than the majority of places I have stayed in the world. 5 stars - excellent

Amazing place, great service
Reviewed By paulmR2866KGDisclaimer - we didn't even stay overnight here. Instead, we were stranded when our boat broke down and we spent along day in the hotel. The main house is incredible, a time capsule going back 100-200 years and beautifully furnished with antiques. Plus some stunning old photos on the walls. The restaurant is equally stunning in a very different way, being an old wooden trading post. It makes for a cosy and warm environment. Although not staying guests, the manager did everything to accommodate us with showers, food, drink and comfort along with a cheerfulness and occasional local history lesson. His efforts were very much appreciated, I can only imagine the service actual overnight guests receive. Oh, and they also played a seemingly endless stream of very cool music.

Cheap and it shows
Reviewed By klenothStaying here cause it was the only Hotel thaat was availible in Harstad for the weekend. The stay is sort of cheap but no Break fast or reseption. So it should be cheap. Empty soap dispensers and a non functional TV. Dirty windows and generally worn out room. Price is low but with no service what so ever it is bad.

Simplistic
Reviewed By cbl131I spent two nights here in a solo accommodation. The room smelled a little musty and it necessitated being aired out before I could be comfortable in it for the night. The location is right next to the Hospital so that would be ideal for those with family members in hospital. Just watch out for the late night medivac waking you up :). You get what you pay for and honestly had I a bit more budget I would have stayed somewhere else. There was also some problems with the wifi the second night.
