Reviewed By Steve SVery good Ibis hotel In Granville Normandy. Staff v v welcoming and I had a nice clean standard Ibis room, dual aspect (smallish windows) overlooking the Marina. Plentiful public free car parking on site and it felt perfectly safe to leave the car. Breakfast Continental fare, fresh and buffet style. I’d 100% use it as base again to tour Normandy just be aware it’s about a two hour drive to the D Day beaches.

The 4 star Mercure Granville Le Grand Large enjoys a quiet cliff top location looking out to the Chausey Islands. Close to the town centre, the casino, the Dior Museum, Mont St Michel and the boat terminal for crossings to the Chausey Islands, Jersey and Guernsey. The hotel forms part of the Previthal thalassotherapy centre with direct access to the steam bath and Jacuzzi as well as the treatment centre. Solarium, lounge bar and terrace with panoramic views. Direct access to the beach. Secure parking.
Rooms are fine, but parking is for mini cars!
Reviewed By Erbee64I booked this hotel as I had to visit a customer in this area. The lady at the reception was very friendly, and guided me to the room. Long time ago that this happened, but the hotel seems to have grown 'organicly', and rooms are not that easy to find. My was on a different floor, and we used the elevator to get there. Afterwards, I found out this floor only needs 4 steps on the stairs... way faster than using an elevator. I arrived late, and did not feel like searching for a restaurant and decided to have dinner in the hotel. The food is not bad, but portions are very small, and choice very limited. I would not have dinner again here. On the breakfast side, the news is much better: this is way beyond my expectations (certainly after what I experienced at dinner). You have a lot of choice, Nespresso coffee, and very warm and friendly welcome from the waitress that did an excellent job on refilling stock, cleaning tables and welcoming people (Morning of Nov 23rd). The restaurant area has a view on the sea, but I had no time for a walk along the beach. It was pretty cold too (November). The room itself is fine, normal size, all clean, well equipped bathroom. The only downside is the parking: yes, it is obviously an advantage to have one, but for my car (+/- 5 meter long), it was extremely challenge to enter without touching the side walls or damaging the wheels (Yes, even it is very narrow, you still have some small sidewalk that shrinks the space even further). Oh yeah, don't forget: this is a LOW parking, you are warned upfront on this though (SUVs wil be in trouble here!) So, make sure to check this before you go! Overall score: would I return: yes!

Good spot between Mont St Michel and Normandy Beaches
Reviewed By Turtle1988Good sized basic hotel. Free onsite parking was nice. Self check in available through a machine when reception is not manned. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Our stay was slightly affected by a large group of teenage guests making noise (they were military cadets in town for D-Day commemorations)

Reviewed By robin kThis is a comfortable hotel in the centre of the town by the casino and yards from the beach. No bar or seating area. Breakfast okay. No parking but a paying car park is outside the hotel - if you can get a space. Rooms overlooking the main street can be noisy but my bathroom and bedroom were fine.

WELCOME !!! the hotel restaurant is located in Granville,lovely city in a south of the department La Manche. our new friendly staff will be really happy to meet you. free wifi everywhere in the hotel. Thre room's categories. You'll find in every rooms , tv included all the privates channels. Our bathroom are equipped either with a shower . Breackfast from 7 an to 10 am ( self service).
Lovely place. Fabulous decor and the staff couldn’t do enough . Only snag was, double room a little small for us. Try it

Reviewed By yoanfaNous avons séjourné une nuit dans le studio La Bisquine. Même si l'accès au studio dans le bâtiment est très étroit et difficile, il est parfaitement situé dans la ville à proximité de nombreux restaurants et activités et le studio est très confortable et bien agencé.
