Reviewed By bg564We stayed at the Best Western Plus Forest Park in for a couple of days when visiting family in Gilroy. It is very well located, near Hwy 101, and restaurants are close. The room was a good size and the service was always helpful and friendly. Standard breakfast with some eggs, toast, coffee and cereal for the kids.

Reviewed By Keitha MI stayed at this hotel 4 nights a week for 5 weeks. My room was always sparkling clean. And the staff were wonderful. The desk clerks (I interacted with two of them) - they were professional, made recommendations for restaurants from fast food to lovely restaurants. Everyone was so friendly - I was sad when my job there ended. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Gilroy.

Just off Highway 101 on Travel Park Circle, we're three miles from Premium Outlets and four miles from wineries and golf courses. Gilroy Gardens theme park is just seven miles from our front door. WiFi and hot breakfast is included in your stay along with access to our fitness center and outdoor heated pool. Each room includes a comfy bed, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker.
Next door to cheap gas station and a lot of extras
Reviewed By StaidthereThe Hampton Inn is in truckers' Travel Park Circle, so you get the benefit of security for the trucks plus cheap gas at Plaza Gas right next door. The entertainment system offers all Showtime movies and series, plus a YouTube menu, plus regular TV. Hershey's nuggets are free for guests to grab with both fists at the reception desk. Great selection at breakfast including chocolate cake, croissants, cut-up fresh fruit, grab n go goodies breakfast bags, and cheese omelets from 6 to 10 am. Our room 401 was clean and spacious with lots of pegs and bars to hang towels, an automatic light in the bathroom, and lots of electric plugs for charging. Laundry worked well. A great coffee tea machine during breakfast. Only shortage was the hotel could not provide a folding suitcase stand for those who needed to have more than one suitcase open at a time. We feel Hampton Inn Gilroy is an outstanding value.

Reviewed By gingerh652Queen room has a small full size bed with close to no room on each side. Needed a handicap accessible room but doorway is a very tight fit to get wheelchair through and strangers keep coming and asking for money. I saw someone looking inside my car through the window. Already paid so now we have to stay but not happy. No fridge in room either :(

Reviewed By christybetancourtStaff was friendly, but the hotel offered half used Hair Conditioner, water came out rusty and Slimy, room needed to be painted, broken glass in the parking lot and the stairwell smelled of Marijuana, very disappointed.

Nice Hotel, but there is no breakfast
Reviewed By Luis MThe hotel is very clean and well mantained. Polite front desk worker. Bathroom is imnaculate with all features working. Comfy bed and nice illumination. The TV in the room is very small and it is hard to see, due to its position at the same level as the bed; it should be mounted on the wall. There is no really breakfast, as offered in the advertising. A big sign on the juice machine reads: "Out of order." The refrigerator was completely empty. There was only coffee and a brown bag with a granola bar and a pastry.

No shower “too bad”
Reviewed By Dan KFound through trip advisor but booking didn’t complete because of connection issue. Paid directly $140 with dog. Didn’t realize until next morning that the shower head was completely torn out of the wall. Management claimed that no empty room was available for my wife & I to shower. After nearly an hour I was given access to the empty room next door. I requested an adjustment on cost. They later left me a voicemail that they would return $14.31

Very Good for a Budget Motel
Reviewed By Guitar_CountryKing's Rest is kept very clean. Their care for maintaining the property shows. So I would stay here again. My room had a fridge and a microwave. Strangely there are no towel racks. No lamps on the bedside stands. There is decent ceiling light. There was no iron or hairdryer provided. No shampoo or conditioner, only soap. So fortunately for me I travel with all these items because I have been in this situation before. Just be aware that you will need these items. They have an ice machine, but it is a vending one, so costs 25 cents. The showerhead for my room (105) needs to be replaced. It is pretty much spurting out all water and very little spray. But overall for the price it is a good value. The motel is kept up well.
