Holiday Getaway

For anyone traveling to Duluth, MN this is a must stay! From check-in to check-out the service was excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful desk staff. We had a canal side jr. suite which was very clean, cozy and had a fantastic view of the Aerial Lift Bridge. We had the pleasure of watching two ships actually pass under the bridge along with the maiden voyage of the Viking Octantis Cruise ship. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have actually booked for two nights in September and one night in November. We've also decided we want to make this a yearly "tradition"

Nice quiet hotel that has a spectacular view of Lake Superior, shops and restaurants located in close proximity. Superior boardwalk in front of the property, would stay here again. We did not have a chance to eat at the restaurants located in the complex because we were here only one night. Rooms and common areas could use a refresh, but the property met or clean, comfortable and quiet criteria.

Nice hotel, clean comfortable and quiet

Reviewed By Peter K

We stayed here on 6/1/22 in room 318. The room is located in the front of the hotel facing the parking lot. It was clean and comfortable, although the room seemed a bit small compared to newer Hamptons. The bathroom was good sized, had enough counter space and good water pressure. The front desk and check in and out were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was fine, typical for a Hampton. The view of the harbor from the breakfast area was great. The hotel is on the water and you can walkout the back door and right to the canal walk. There is plenty of free parking and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The beds kinda suck, especially if you’ve had any back surgeries but the staff were super polite, the place was clean, very nice rooms, and the little store was super helpful since I was on a last minute mom-cation from my littles to go see my 2 older daughter and my grand babies…it was definitely a nice place for having a visitor come see you as the room was spacious and there’s was a balcony. Long story, lol, I apologize, over all, a super great place (maybe just some new beds??)

This was our base of operations for visiting the north shore. This hotel was impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was spotless and all foods, especially the coffee, were kept full. We used the hot tub every day, which was great for sore joints and muscles. The pool area was also spotless. The hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants, including one of our favorites in the Duluth area, Texas Roadhouse - adjacent and only a 2 minute walk.

A Great Gathering Space

Reviewed By Cooperton

This hotel was a delight for our family vacation. I know this sounds strange but we really enjoyed having a centrally located staircase that was more convenient than the elevator. The pool area was spacious with a pool, hot tub, and sauna. The area was big enough to comfortably work at a table planning the next days activities and not get splashed from the pool. The staff was great and the beds were pretty comfortable. The WiFi was not the best but I find that to be pretty common at most hotels so it did not effect my rating. The breakfast was standard and mostly back to normal but no biscuits and gravy. We also really enjoyed the common space. There was a bridge that was overlooking the pool that had tables and chairs just perfect for card playing. The rooms were spacious and worked well for this family traveling with 2 kids aged 12 and 15. Overall, it just felt nice and was convenient to the activities we had planned in Duluth. We would definitely stay here again.
