Nice resort, avoid the restaurant
Reviewed By K1093DJchrishStayed 3 nights. Room was large, and bathroom was great. Room floor was dusty and we couldn’t walk in the room with bare feet. Even though the food at the restaurant is generally good and fresh, it is horribly overpriced, and we avoided eating there. At 8am the breakfast buffet has only a few leftovers and they don’t seem to replace anything. Communication from the front desk is poor. We went there for Valentine’s Day, however nobody informed us of their valentines dinner function. Also no communication about daily dining specials, and they didn’t inform us that their spa was open. Arranging airport transfer is difficult as communication via Facebook needs improvement.

REMARKABLY A GREAT & WONDERFUL STAY AT THE BE GRAND RESORT BOHOL, PHILIPPINES
Reviewed By jimmygJ821KGsight, ambience l, great atmosphere, serene, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle from the previous property prior which we stayed in. We were welcomed upon arrival by Pearl, the Resort Manager, being offered with welcome drinks and cold towels from the staff. Though we were a bit early upon our arrival and decided to take 3 rooms for my family, Pearl was able to arrange 1 room to keep our items and preparing the other 2 rooms. The property has a calm and serene atmosphere comparable to a 5-Star property, with great hospitable service from Pearl, Gwen, Uriel just to name a few and all staff of BE Grand Resort in Bohol. The room was comfortable, with a bathtub, standing shower, bathrobes and flip flop slippers provided and a view of the swimming pool. The property provides game room, karaoke room, kayaking and SPA for all guests . The property does offer suites, villas for couples and family within the property As a Chef Concierge in my own property, recommendations are being made for my guests within the property for various outlets for dining, shopping malls within the vicinity and various places of interest. In addition, recommendations are also being made to our guests if so required to the resorts in the addition countries like Bali in Indonesia, Phuket or Pattaya in Thailand, Maldives and properties in Cebu, Boracay, Palawan and Bohol. With our experience in BE Grand Resort in Bohol, it is rest assured recommendations will be made to my family, friends and guests to the BE Grand properties where available. Special thanks once again to PEARL, THE RESORT MANAGER and all staff for providing great hospitality and a wonderful stay for me and my family making it a memorable experience. Very disappointing customer service
Reviewed By Stephtravels2468The hotel is nice and in a good location but the customer service was terrible. There was no hot water the first night and then no water for an hour the following day. They organised us a “tour” to the chocolate hills and charged us 4000 pesos. The driver had a card in his car that said it was 2500 pesos. We disputed this with the hotel and they said the 1500 extra was a “hotel fee” ie a 50% fee. There was also no guide included in the tour. Very, very disappointing. I would not advise staying here.

My watch was stolen from the room
Reviewed By trip-chick-munichI stayed here for 2 nights while on a dive safari, so had not personally chosen this place to stay. The safe did not work. I forgot to take my watch with me while out during the day. When we got to next location I realised my watch was missing and had been taken from my wash bag. On top of that the place stinks of mould so it’s probably really unhealthy to stay. It’s really close to an extremely loud live music bar, so it’s also very very noisy. I cannot recommend strongly enough to avoid this place like hell.

They are very comfortable, quiet and bright. The décor inside the resort is very nice. The details are originally selected: style and design are by a famous Italian architect. The swimming pool has an area of 60 square meters in marble dust and a special design with curved and soft lines and different depth suitable for children and anyone who like just floating and lazing in the pool, or alternatively you can take a dip or a swim too!The leisure area has a cool feeling with a very nice ambience: you can relax in the shade of the palm and bougainvillea garden, or have a drink in the recreation area The bar offers many vanilla- flavored specialties like the famous Italian panna cotta, crepes with chocolate or vanilla, refreshing milkshake and inviting muffins with assorted flavored sauce.

We had the privilege to be hosted in one of their suit room , a peaceful area where resting is a key! Pool, great restaurant , topnotsch customer service , smiling and warm welcoming staff .. there ain’t big challenge enough for this team. Massage also can be done in your room ;) snorkeling , scuba dive and so on. You guessed it , this is the place to go to once you are in Bohol! Cheers to the staff and the Italian owner !

Reviewed By 591niklIt is a budget accommodation, but at my opinion the quality of this hotel is less than average compared to similar accommodations. Positive: The garden and the pool is actually nice and beautiful. Negative: The room i slept in does need an upgrade. Its was run down and looked very old. Poor wifi not working properly in the room. To use the wifi I had to go outside. Breakfast quality is also less than average quality. The location is a bit far away from Alona Beach, but I was aware of that while making the booking. It is possible walking to the beach, but a moto is much more comfortable in the hot climate. I would not stay here again.

Reviewed By Anita RHarmony is not the best but just nice for the price. Do not expect luxury. But if you are looking for a place to spend the night, with access to the beach and near to the airport, this one meets your needs.
