Excellent budget place to stay if you've a rental car and flying in/out of Lyon and want to avoid the hassle of the city. Easy 20 min drive from the terminals in a really French small town. Private no-charge parking. No-charge Wifi works well.

An excellent 'find'
Reviewed By MaiohaWe were very lucky to get the last room as the Villa des Contamines is a real gem. The room was excellent with twin beds as we wished and the owners extremely friendly and accommodating. We were even invited for an evening drink with the other guests - 'on the house'. We will be definitely be going back there again when we are in the area.

Reviewed By Helen AReally well located for exploring the old town of Cremieu. The only downside was there is no private parking but we did get parked in a small street opposite. Our room was more of a suite with a separate sitting area comfortable if a little noisy being right beside the road and it being hot the window needed to be open. There was a tea tray with kettle which is rare in France. The wifi was a little dodgy with such thick walls. There’s a lovely garden and a small swimming pool. The host is very friendly and informative. The breakfast was a typical French continental one served overlooking the gardens.
