Reviewed By alexZ8452NSFrom the first minute the owner and staff could not have been more helpful despite the language barrier (resolved with their use followed by ours of google translate). They also talked us through the town of Consuegra including restaurants and attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean and contained nearly everything you could need including toiletries and a hairdryer. We asked if an iron was available and they were only too happy to help. The breakfast was very varied and included coffee, fruit, pastries etc. The owner was also very helpful when we were attempting to sort transport back to Madrid on a Sunday due to the lack of trains/buses. I could not recommend this hotel any higher. It even includes a swimming pool!

Reviewed By Neil MWe stayed here when travelling to Malaga from Santander, it is a lovely hotel very friendly staff, it is in a good location to visit the windmills. There are plenty of bars and restaurants along the river walkway which is only 2-3 minutes walk.

Beware when booking this property
Reviewed By Canucks583My wife and I booked a room at this property at the end of December for the night of March 18. We got 2 reminders from Booking.com confirming our booking during the 2 weeks leading up to our booking. When we arrived at the pre-arranged time, there was no one to meet us and we had to use our North American cell phone to contact the owners. They informed us that our booking had been cancelled due to over-booking - 2.5 months before the appointed date! Maybe it was coincidence that our booking turned out to be over a Madrid public holiday weekend and perhaps a higher room rate could be charged closer to the time. So beware when considering this property and also of Booking.com who failed to inform us of the cancellation.

However, the only thing I would change is the bed’s headboard, which was not properly stuck to the bed and made a noise all night, which made it hard to sleep. Apart from that, everything was very good!

Never ate there as we arrive late night and left early morning the next day, but it always seemed to be busy and the foot looked good. Rooms were a little warm, but comfortable and relatively clean. It said there was air conditioning, but we could not control it as the remote had no batteries. Furthermore, there was free wifi, but we were never offered the password. We had a view of other rooms' windows on a roof like thing

Reviewed By DebbcnAbsolutely lovely hotel in Consuegra Spain. Minutes from the path to climb up and see the windmills and the castle. From the beautiful interior patio along side the four private bedrooms, you can watch a huge storks nest at the bell tower of the church. Lovely rooms with access to the kitchen and living room. Owner provided bottles of water in the refrigerator for each of the 4 rooms. Brand new facility and just wonderful. The four bedrooms are private with complete modern bathroom. Its like your own private house with lovely patio to also enjoy. Beautiful candle lights at night on the patio.

Reviewed By Marken15Estuvimos este pasado fin de semana y el recibimiento fue muy bueno. Se nos explicó el funcionamiento de la casa y los puntos de interés. Casa muy calentita y acogedora..la anfitriona nos dejó incluso salir más tarde de la hora establecida. El entorno es inigualable. Sin embargo faltaron bastantes detalles que me sorprendieron por parte de la casa. No había cristalería (copas) o sartenes de varios tamaños, no había de productos básicos en la cocina (aceite) o productos de baño (gel o champú) Había leña pero no dejaron cerillas o mechero.. detalles sencillos que una casa con tres espigas creo que debería de haber tenido.
