Reviewed By onlyraphaelthe hotel needs work. The elevators are dirty, reception is also dirty... definitely needs some work. The rooms, some smell cigarette or bad smell (hotel says it is non smoking). There is only one elevator at the reception. Expected better quality for a Campanile.

Reviewed By Z6535DUclNous avons pris 4 nuits en studios communicants pour nos enfants et nous mêmes. Nous nous sommes retrouvés au premier étage dans des appartements sombres, des remontées d’égout insupportables, et une poubelle débordante non nettoyée à notre arrivée. Il a fallu m’y reprendre à 2 fois dans la journée pour qu on vienne la vider. L’accueil n’a pas voulu nous changer de chambres, l’hôtel étant complet…il ne l’était pas sur internet… Les problèmes d’odeur se retrouvent dans de nombreux appartements, on vous conseille d’aérer et de mettre du parfum. Un anglais désespéré devant moi est reparti avec une bombe désodorisante. Lamentable de louer des appartements de la sorte. C’est de l’escroquerie. J’imagine l’été … Résidence à fuir où on vous écoutera, on vous embrouillera et où finalement vous subirez des inconvénients que nous n’avez pas souhaité. Pour le parking, vous réglerez 12€/ jour et comme ils n’ont pas assez de cartes il faudra lorsque vous désirerez sortir votre voiture, aller chercher un réceptionniste pour qu il vienne vous ouvrir le garage…Des embrouilles en plus ! Perte de temps en plus. Aucun professionnalisme et une représentation lamentable de l’hôtellerie française

Don't expect refund if you cancel semi-flex
Reviewed By lizatrip vGreat stress, and time wasted trying to get a reimbursement after failed attempts to cancel 2 days after booking. The system would not allow me to cancel so I emailed the hotel 7 times with no response. Once in Calmart, and staying at a different hotel, I had to go there physically in order to obtain my refund, and that wasn't a pleasant experience either.

The staff specially the guy in check in was freindly, help us to take up baggages (no elevator), Hitel clean, beautiful, most room don't have good view. Hotel was in clamart, clamart was clean beautiful ,safe, good local restaurant near, beautiful garden, ...( all the thing you couldn't find in paris?). I like the area. The hotel in not too near to public transportation. Hotel have good breakfast, guy serve breakfast was frown. And price was more than average.

Ruined our 4 days in Paris
Reviewed By MisseulalieWe booked based on information provided on Trip Advisor. That the apartment was only 20 minutes from Paris, that it had Air conditioning, that it had all these amenities. Nope. First, it took 1 hour by taxi to get here on a Sunday afternoon. We couldn't find the place and as soon as we did, the taxi driver started yelling at us why we would stay all the way out here and cursed having to drive back. Our first impression is a very stinky hallway that leads to our apartment. I will say the actual apartment is very nice. New kitchen, updated bathroom. This was the only good thing. Of course there is no A.C. it is 40 degrees in Clamart and we are suffocating. Again, I went on the info the hotel provided that said A.C. was provided. I actually emailed the owner twice about this. Once before our visit to confirm it had A.C, and after asking why did you mislead us. No response. When we keep the doors open to let fresh air in, all we smell is the thick cigarette smoke from the other neighbors. Disgusting. So here we sit sweating horribly and can barely sleep. We are awoken to construction noises - there goes the "quaint" neighborhood. In fact this is not a charming little town, but a lower middle class factory city with no cafes and only snack restaurants unless you want to get on a public transportation and look for something. We ended up eating eggs that we bought from a local bogeda so we could eat something. Two meals in France were scrapping what ever food we could find from the convenience store across the street- how romantic. Swimming pool! Theater! Activities! Actually no. There is a community pool and you need to be a member of the community to use it. Now...according to your information, it takes 20 minutes to Paris. No it doesn't. It takes between 40-60 minutes and 3 changes in public transportation to get to Paris. See my screenshots. We were shocked to get here and realize how far it actually takes. This two hour ride takes out so much time out of the few days we have in France. This is so misleading and false advertising. So many things about this place is falsely advertised. We contacted booking.com to help us. They contacted the owner and they brought us one fan. That's great. One small fan for a 2 bedroom apartment. Do we cut it into half so we both get to use it at night? The owners have not been helpful besides bringing the one fan and have yet to respond to my emails.

nice affordable hotel very close to Paris center
Reviewed By Wot BThe room is simple but nice. The environment is calm. There is a good and affordable Asian restaurant 50 meters away and a brasserie down the road. The breakfast is simple but they have great coffee. Wifi is a bit slow but works well. The staff is nice. You should park up the hill by the forest, it's free and there's always available spots. Going to Paris by a direct bus is nice.
