Its Good for Just Sleeping Basically
Reviewed By Y8914NMangelaaIf you're just looking to sleep its probably okay. The rooms are clean enough. We booked a room for four of us, they gave us two towels, one bar of soap to use for both washing hands as well as for the bath, and housekeeping never stopped by to replace or change trash or anything. The seating area for breakfast is tiny, with maybe a handful of tables. We were fortunate enough to have the lucky timing to secure a table. The waffles there are good though, as were the coffee and juice. When we arrived the mini-fridge was broken, but the attendant brought us a new one right away which fixed the problem. The room was pretty hot when we arrived, but the air conditioner worked great and quickly. I also like that they provide Matrix branded shampoo and conditioner. The view looks much better in the photos they use than in real life. In real life, you can see mountains, but you're going to see huge areas of run-down businesses everywhere too. I guess its what you would expect from a Super 8. I do feel the price was slightly high for what it was, but not too unreasonable I suppose.

Reviewed By donflwcoMy wife and I and another couple planned a weekend getaway to ride the train and visit the Winery and Prison Museum. We selected Parkview based on reviews and location. What a pleasant surprise this non-chain family owned Motel was! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Each room is uniquely decorated and having a real old-school key on a fob brought back childhood memories. The continental breakfast was very adequate. The location was walking distance to the train depot, prison museum and main street shopping. Would stay at Parkview Inn Motel over major chain again in a heartbeat.

Reviewed By MartazU3145XVThe front desk was able to get us into an accessible room, which was so helpful because my husband has mobility issues. The king bed was comfortable, we heard no noise from other guests and the breakfast was great with a very attentive lady in charge.

Reviewed By CheriekingThe hotel could use a makeover. The rooms were clean for the most part although the comforter in one room was dirty (not stained) requested a new one never got it. Took 4 requests to get a cot and more towels. Front desk was very friendly just not very efficient The breakfast was decent, the breakfast staff was great. Beds were very comfortable overall I would say it was average

Reviewed By Louise19761979We stayed in the Corner Point cabin which was in a perfect location and quiet. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. We spent most of our time on the patio in front of the two-way glass fireplace. Our grandsons enjoyed the corn hole, the hammock and the tether ball in the middle of the property. The kitchen had sufficient supplies and the bathroom downstairs was quite spacious. The 2nd bedroom provided a separate area for our grandsons with their own bathroom. This is the 2nd stay in a cabin and we also previously stayed in the glamping tent which was a lot fun also.

Reviewed By michellemH340RGWe had 5 people between 2 rooms and all slept comfortably. An older building, we'll maintained and clearly caring proprietors. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable stay.

Reviewed By 38patkWhat a pure delight to stay in this quaint yet modern motel! Room was perfect, and what a pleasure to see printed bedsheets. It's a little thing, but made us feel as though we were staying with friends. And their towels!! Big, thick and soft .... sigh. Bed was comfortable, motel quiet and peaceful. There were even picnic tables and a grill set out in the common area for those who wanted to do their own thing. The ONLY complaint we had was the small, condiment tubes of shampoo provided - very little content and hard to open. This was definitely the best place we stayed during our extended trip through the west!

VERY PLEASANT STAY
Reviewed By joyceb468This motel is VERY clean and comfortable, although quite old. We had problems sleeping the first night because the air conditioner would shut completely off with no continuous fan. But we turned on the bathroom fan the next night and it was ok. Very comfortable bed. The owners were difficult to communicate with, but super nice folks. They serve fresh coffee and free yogurt but no breakfast. We will definitely come back!
