Enjoyable Stay

The room was small and there was some confusion over whether we had booked a double bed or twin beds, but that was swiftly fixed with the addition of a put you up bed that was up to the task. That did make an already small room even more cramped but it was comfortable nevertheless. Although it was clean the bathroom, particularly the shower could have done with a deep clean. Despite is being 26 degrees and no air con, the room was pleasantly cool with very good wifi and particularly helpful staff. Usefully the owner spoke good English. The breakfast the next day was one of the freshest we have come across with everything being replenished frequently. All the meats, cheeses and breads were first class and there was a machine to squeeze oranges for fresh juice too. Would highly recommend staying here.

Reviewed By Matt DHotelet del Bac is a meticulously and beautifully restored and repurposed stone farmhouse with views over Camprodon and the Ter valley to die for. Rocio the manager host was very welcoming and helping with advice on restaurants and activities. The atmosphere is very relaxed but with plenty of attention to detail. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return. It´s a great base to explore the area and there are a couple of family rooms available that we might check out next time. We had the “Romantic Weekend” pack but I believe there are ski and golf options too which discounts on ski passes and green fees.

Reviewed By CorruptedSanityKeep in mind that the hotel has two accommodation types. The traditional hotel room and villas. The typical hotel rooms are on the main hotel grounds while the villas are about 5 minutes away by car. The villa is very nice. Roomy, lovely views of a valley and mountain range.

Reviewed By Peter CWe stopped at the Hotel mas de Xaxas twice during our Catalan Villages hiking holiday. The hotel is located only a short distance from the town centre – I suppose everything is. Camprodon is not huge. It is a family run establishment. The hotel has an alpine feel to it. Lots of dark wood and old-fashioned fittings. There is a large terrace at the back which faces onto the river. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable and the bedding was good. There was a great high-pressure shower. The towels were of good quality. There were nice views from the bedroom window of the fast running river and tree-covered mountains. Breakfast was excellent. It included cheeses, jamon, ham, sausage, tortilla espanola, home-made cakes - everything. There was good coffee and freshly pressed orange juice, not concentrate.

Reviewed By Alison HLovely hotel, my rooms overlooked the river; the food was superb and the staff attentive and friendly. The hotel is central for everything although, the garden over the bridge was a peaceful place for and after dinner drink and socialising with other members of the party

Nice local comfortable hotel
Reviewed By 3Paull1988We stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed both of them and found their rates very reasonable for Europe standards. Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was very helpful and most went out of their way to make the stay very nice. Their wifi was not working well, but they continued to try to get it running and were able to solve the problem. Their breakfast was INCREDIBLE and well served. You won't go away hungry. :)

Thinking that a Hostal might be something a bit downmarket, we did not know quite what to expect but we were very agreeably surprised. It was small but perfectly formed: decent sized room, cosy restaurant and excellent food, both dinner and breakfast. Dani, Silvana and her father were lovely warm and welcoming hosts. We would willingly stay here again!

El hotel els Avets, dispone de dos alas de comedor y también de un jardín con mesas para poder comer con bastante espacio, puedes contagiarte con mayor facilidad en un supermercado de tú barrio. Todo lo que dicen en TripAdvisor del hotel es cierto. Hemos estado tranquilos, hemos confiado, hemos disfrutado de la intimidad. A fin y a cuentas, hemos venido a conocer está maravillosa zona ahora poco masificada y el hotel ha cumplido perfectamente. Es responsabilidad en parte de cada uno de nosotros,la expectativa y también el saber movilizarse en estos tiempos de covid. Les invito a venir a conocer la zona, tienen todo lo necesario y ahora es una época maravillosa no hace mucho frío y el entorno es precioso. Pueden ver museos gratuitos, pasear por monumentos románicos, ver infinidad de prados, comer en cualquier picnic de la zona. La gente del pueblo es amable y tratable, ayudan sobre cualquier cuestión. El pueblo está preparado para está circunstancia, esperemos que excepcional.

Cims Hotel has 22 totally new rooms, spacious and very comfortable, very bright and with spectacular views of the Monastery and Church of Sta. Maria, or the Ritort River. It offers a relaxed atmosphere, combining the country style with an industrial decoration that undoubtedly grants the hotel elegance and a unique charm. Fully equipped rooms for 2, 3 and 4 people. Hair dryer, toiletries, heating, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi are available. All rooms have private bathroom, wooden floor, a desk, a closet and flat screen TV. For breakfast you will able to enjoy a delightful buffet with products from Camprodon’s área. You can book your stay both with breakfast or without it.
Friendly and helpful
Reviewed By santpedorWe stayed there for 3 nights and were totally satisfied. The hotel has been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The 2 ladies in charge , Monica and Leni, were very friendly and helpful. The situation is good and is a short walk from the town centre. They have a small private carpark which probably fills up quickly during the busy season so it's a good idea to book a space. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are several eating places nearby. I would certainly stay there again.
