Reviewed By charlottedX6143ZAI stopped here to break up a long journey through France and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and very easy. Check-in was super fast. I parked right outside and slept SO SO well. I stayed with my dog who was very welcome. Breakfast was nice and it was all beautifully quiet and spaced out. Perfect.

Good to be back after 3 years absence due to pandemic
Reviewed By stevemacBelperIt was really nice to be back in this lovely hotel.Situated in an ideal position just a few minutes from the the centre.There’s ample parking but it can get full pretty quickly.We we’re in a well equipped room 310,it can suffer from people chatting late at night below the room as it’s sort of above one of the the reception entrances and there is some road noise but as it’s situated close to a major road junction there’s not much you can do about traffic noise.It was nice sit out in the garden and have an early evening drink.We have stayed here twice and we have found eating in at the restaurant a bit expensive so we walk into town and find a good establishment like Pizzalberto.Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed By SheilacabaleroThe hotel d’Angleterre is a long established, comfortable hotel in the centre of Bourges. Service is excellent and there is a garage attached with 8 places. You can also park in the street although you have to pay during the day. It’s a short walk to the cathedral and other attractions as well as shops and restaurants but the area around the hotel itself is very quiet. Highly recommended

Reviewed By JillB24260Welcomed by very friendly receptionist. Bedroom was immacuately clean. Really comfortable pillows and duvet. We slept very well. Quiet and very little road noise. Enjoyable breakfast. Would recommend.

Reviewed By NYCWGVThe Hotel Le Panoramic is an updated hotel in a historic city. The rooms are functional, modern, and, many, with amazing views. It was a nice place to stay and the breakfast was ample. I just wish the front desk had a bit more warmth and hospitality - it was non-existent. Upon check in, I was never told that I would need a security code, written on the small paper wallet that held the room key, to enter the hotel if returning after 11:00 p.m. I found out the hard way, when I returned to the hotel at 11:45 p.m. on a cold November Saturday night - the keypad didn't ever have an emergency number. Luckily, other guests arrived about twenty minutes later and I was able to get in.

Fine for a one night stay.
Reviewed By 10chris02There for one night only and though it did not have a bar or restaurant for an evening meal, it did have everything we wanted for an overnight stay. Our room was simply furnished with a bed we both found comfortable. The breakfast was very good and gave sufficient nourishment for the heavy driving day that was to follow. Though we did not use them, we checked out the garden and pool area and have to say we perhaps missed out on using them. It is worth noting that given the lack of a restaurant, the centre of Bourges is only about a 20 minute walk where there is a plethora of bars and restaurants.

If you're visiting the US Museum next to the train station, this is a great hotel for that. The hotel has private parking and a very nice restaurant. Rooms are clean and very nice. I highly recommend!

Ideal for leisure and business trips, you can also enjoy our indoor heated pool, our fitness center and sauna. A catering services is available at the bar or in your room.
Disappointing service
Reviewed By Myska74We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is situated near the highway which was fine for us but in case you are sensitive to noise, it might not be the best option. On a positive side, our family room was spacious, with a very comfortable queen bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was clean. We only regretted that it was not possible to use the shower as it was broken. It was annoying as we arrived in the night after a 6 hour drive. Fortunately, the issue was solved quickly the following day. On a more negative side, the hotel has serious issues with service. The staff is nice and friendly and tried their best. We would like to thank a blond lady in a red shirt who was very kind and really tried to make up for the restaurant problems. It seems that the hotel is understaffed and despite the efforts of the staff, the service at the breakfast was a disaster. Every time we arrived, there were no plates and cutlery. Guests had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get them (in principle all had to wait for dishwasher to finish its cycle). The staff was running between the kitchen, breakfast restaurant and reception causing delays at all fronts. Similarly, in the evening, we gave up after waiting 15-20 minutes for somebody to take our order at the bar. Housekeeping was chaotic as one day the room was cleaned and the other not. So overall, a bit disappointing.
