Reviewed By paigedavey93Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone especially for what we paid!! I’ve stayed in better, cleaner and more modern hostels for £100’s less than this. Don’t let the lobby area deceive you as it looks quite nice. Rooms are so outdated, dirty and just awful!! Broken skirting boards, broken toilet holder, RED stains (which we can only describe as what looked like blood) on the shower wall, broken shower head, no shower curtain so the bathroom floor is soaked if you spend longer than 30 seconds in there, ‘closet’ which is actually just a rail with one broken hanger, 1 plastic feeling flat pillow per bed unless you ask for another but it’s so firm it almost makes it worse, beds are rock hard, floor feels dirty on your feet, no plug sockets near any mirror so don’t expect to be able to do your hair at all if you needed to. Yes it may be a 4 minute walk to the Metro but it’s in an AWFUL area. Watched someone get pickpocketed in front of us and I got hit with a moped whilst walking on the path. Shouted at by groups of men and told by the kind deliveroo man who was looking out for us that as 2 girls (27 & 29 years old) we shouldn’t be walking by ourselves here as we’ll get robbed or worse. Didn’t feel safe in the room, a rickety chain to put across the door and a lock but judging by the state of the room the lock probably didn’t work anyway. Can’t believe how much we paid and what we got. Absolutely criminal. If you’re thinking of staying here then just don’t… The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Reviewed By SMDunn802The group I was traveling with spent one night here and immediately rebooked at a different hotel the next morning. This hotel is the most disgusting I’ve ever stayed in. There was blood on my sheets (photo attached), everything was filthy, and numerous fire alarms in rooms and hallways were not working properly (hanging from ceilings/walls by wires). When asked for tissues, we were simply told to “go across the street” at 9pm to buy our own and they wanted to hold our passports in an unlocked drawer for the duration of our stay in exchange for a hair dryer. I will never stay at any hotel owned by this chain; they should be closed down indefinitely.

Staff is terrible
Reviewed By Martim OThe staff is just the worst. They don't make your live easy beacuse they are so inefficient. I started to think they do not want to work at all. It is easier to apply for the North Korean visa than to make a reservation in this hotel.

Parking costs € 16 a night, also dirty and full of garbage and abandoned cars. Rats everywhere. I always stay at the Ibis and this was the worst hotel I stayed at! Escape this hotel!

Not good for health
Reviewed By chloe1623The room in which we stayed in had damp and mould on the walls which was clear to see as the walls are white. There was a crack in one of the side lights. As well as this there was a stain on the sink and not enough amenities. A lot of the paint was chipped. The floor was also dirty. I was highly disappointed with this stay as I usually stay in Budgets wherever I go, this one has been the worst. However, the staff were friendly but this does not make up for the stay.
