Lousy wifi

They advertise as being “good for business” but frankly, the wifi was not fit for anything and certainly not for business. It drove us mad. I struggled to send emails, and was completely unable to download files. It’s like 2002, not 2022. Come on management, this lets down what would be a good little, reasonably priced hotel.

Nice and friendly hotel , situated on a cross roads ,easy access to the north N1 (Burgos), south (Madrid), west (Valladolid and Palencia) but perfectly isolated . Constantly renovating the installations , free wifi, buffet breakfast or continental at the cafeteria. Famous restaurant offering menu of the day and an extent selection of the typical Castellana cuisine( roast baby lamb, blood sausages, Castillian soup and many others.....) Open all the year

Reviewed By squinthorizonThe staff are lovely, the room was fairly clean, and the WiFi works. That is the end of the good news. There is absolutely no sound-proofing between the rooms. I could hear every word spoken by my neighbours, you could hear them at the toilet, and every sound coming from the bed.......revolting! There is no aircon, so you couldn't even try to mask the background noise. One night a group of drunken "guests" burst out of the elevator at 4.30am, and proceeded to shout and bellow in the corridor. And every other evening my sleep was disturbed by the lift, and by inconsiderate guests talking loudly in the corridor. What a pity.

We present a new hostel recently renovated (November 2014) more spacious, modern and functional rooms. All our rooms include bathroom, TV and Wifi. The location of the hostel is very central (2 minutes from the Plaza Mayor) along the Duero river and the two bridges that articulate the life of the city. The reception of the hostel is in Restaurant Resinera at number 25 on the same street
Great room - great value
Reviewed By John ACentral location, very friendly owners (but no english), comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Great value for money. Parking might be a problem but its free in the streets. We stayed one night and the place is more like a 3 star hotel than a hostel. Breakfast was included but we did not have any.... Would stay again!

Anno 1970 and no twin beds
Reviewed By Jesper GHotel of reasonable standard anno 1970. But despite prior confirmation via e-mail about room with twinbeds, only double bed was available to us. And it was impossible to communicate just minimally with the receptionist in English. Furthermore, the parking lot was fully occupied it would have been nice to know that you should book this in advance. So not a great hotel.

Country retreat
Reviewed By Kirsty BGreat spacious room, fantastic bathroom, country location, delicious and simple breakfast (sponge cake was super delicious). Accommodation is (5km) about 1hrs (flat) walk from Aranda. We didn't have a car so we either walked to town or took a taxi which cost 8 euro. Bikes can also be hired from the local Aranda bike shop (12€ for one day). Hostess speaks little English, but her use of Google translate means there are no language barriers.

Limpísimo, impecable, cama muy cómoda y sábanas gustosas, cocina estupenda para preparar platos y muy buena ubicación. El detallito de tener unas cuantas cápsulas de café y botellitas de agua me pareció muy mono.Hay un mercadona cerca, lo que se hace cómodo si compras 4 cositas y te las llevas al hotel. Toda la cocina bien equipada y muy limpia

Full of character and great food and wine ... wine not least because it’s a renowned Finca and of course in the Ribera del Duero area. Plenty of parking and a short way from the A1 but not noisy .... what’s not to like?

Excellent overnight stay
Reviewed By pugwash12Just returned from a trip around spain and we were fortunate enought to stay in this hotel. I am in a wheelchair and requested the accessible room. To sum up the experience I can simply say it was excellent. The hotel staff were all professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel was clean and in these times of covid compliance we were made to feel safe. Staff wore masks, the room was spotless and even the TV remote was in a bag, cleaned after every stay. The main room to the hotel is breathtaking. authentic spanish. In the shop I asked the assistant for help in choosing wine and she gave me an impromptu wine tasting session. The restaurant is also beautiful. Choice of local food was amazing, staff so keen to please. A huge thank you and well done , I will definetly return.

Although on first impressions the hotel has history, the service is incredibly homely and the hotel is spectacular clean. Clean to a point where one could possibly eat their dinner from the bathroom floor! The room is well maintained, the bedding is really comfortable and it’s peaceful. They have patience with non Spanish speakers and will help you with anything you need. I would not hesitate in staying here again. Well done Hotel Alisi!
