A great surprise
Reviewed By Paddywack2018We needed a late booking and having found this hotel got a room at six p m It was clean and comfortable and the pool was wonderful after a very tiring day. It is not glamorous in any way, but the staff were most helpful The dinner a la Carte( as the main menu was less attractive) was quite delicious. Proper consommé made from cocido followed by an amazing solomillo ( fillet steak) were superb. The Sky bacon which is a literal translation of one of Spain’s most delicious puddings was fabulous. We had not anticipated such a feast. Breakfast was OK but not special but it was only 7 euro, which is much less than other hotels convenient for the motorway

Great apartment in Historic House
Reviewed By FaizalP61Tastefully decorated large apartment in 18th Century Noble's House with full facilities ( kitchen, washer, Stove, fridge, TV, Lounge etc. Lobby Lounge with large period paintings and sculptures. Excellent and friendly service. Only challenge - was not able to work out the control for heating in the bedroom (too warm). Drinks, fruits, coffee and snacks provided. Located in a beautiful part of town. Parking about 5 minutes walk away opposite the fire station.

El complejo de apartamentos turísticos paraje san gines se encuentra en el parque natural sierra de Andújar, "territorio lince", disponemos de 5 cómodos apartamentos (casas) independientes y construidos en madera, uno de los apartamentos esta diseñado para personas con movilidad reducida (sin barreras arquitectónicas), Todos los apartamentos tienen cocina-salón-comedor, baño y los hay de uno y dos dormitorios. Están equipados de ropa de cama y toallas. El complejo dispone de una cafetería, salón restaurante para poder degustar la cocina tradicional de la zona y cocina mediterránea.
Friendly welcome, great location to search for Lynx
Reviewed By WhortyNice little wooden lodge, perfectly located in the national park. A great base if you are aiming to search for the Iberian Lynx, go birding or have a cycling holiday. The host is very warm and friendly. He couldn't do enough for us during our stay. He spoke little English, we have little Spanish but through smiles, phrase books and good humour we communicated very well. We ate in the bar / restaurant most nights, which is a testament to how great the food was. If you are a meat-eater, this is the place for you my friends!! Our lodge was the disabled one as one of us uses a wheelchair. There is a ramp into the lodge, the doors are widened and the kitchen units have been lowered to aid wheelchair use. There is also a ramp into the restaurant. If we go back to this part of the world we will definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By MorganSmith2014This is a very comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant and very well priced. More important, the location near the santuario is superb. I hope to go back soon and stay longer.It's up a winding road from the town of Andujar and not far from Cordoba.

Nice place with a warm welcome
Reviewed By Jim_W171We really enjoyed our stay here up in the Sierra De Andujar mountains. The apartments are certainly off the beaten track, but that was fine for us as we were there to look for Iberian Lynx and other wildlife. The apartments are cosy wooden challets dotted around in a pretty rural setting which was great for the kids (aged 7 & 8) to explore. Best of all for us was the great hospitality shown to us by Senora Teresa, the lady who owns and runs the place. She was really friendly and catered for my eldest daughter who cannot eat gluten, which was a really big help for us. The restaurant seemed nice, and may be busier earlier in the year and later in the evening (we're English, we eat early!). We certainly go back again

Reviewed By jazzguyThe hotel is overpriced for what it is. We've paid the same amount, about $85, at much nicer places throughout Spain. The breakfast is bare minimum, and you have to pay for parking. The "free" wifi, although advertised as "in room" does not work above the first floor. The staff is friendly and the place is clean, but that's it.

Reviewed By mabelm442Eramos 4 parejas y habíamos reservado la casa q supuestamente tenía 3 habitaciones y una más arriba (en la buardilla). Pues bien, cuando llegamos había una familia en la casa de las tres habitaciones y a nosotros nos repartieron cada pareja en sitios distintos: una se quedó en una casa llamada romero, q solo tenía una habitación; otra pareja tenía que cruzar toda la finca para dormir en una casa cueva; otra pareja tenía que subir unas escaleras y dormir en una habitación que habían construido en la terraza y en la que el baño más próximo estaba en la casa de abajo; y la última pareja no pudo dormir donde le asignaron (buardilla) ya que estaba en obras, sin acabar, sin puerta, sin pintar, etc. Faltan cubiertos, mobiliario básico para la vida diaria. El wifi no va bien. La limpieza deja mucho que desear. Lo único positivo la amabilidad de los dueños y el entorno.

Reviewed By AntonioM1650Magnífico establecimiento. Edificio histórico y muy bien decorado. Muy buena ubicación, en el centro de la villa. Ideal como plataforma para visitar ciudades muy cercanas como Córdoba y Granada. Precioso.
