Reviewed By Richard BI just think the cost of the Hotel is a little much. That said if you are staying in the area there are less expensive hotel/motel, but they are not has clean/maintained has the Windsor. Location in town is convenient for walking.

Reviewed By tyreese116On behalf of my stay I’d say it was comfortable more than less . The room was clean and that made things comforting for me and my friend. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend a friend . My only complaint was that we were accused of smoking in the room and we didn’t .

Dirty room and saw roaches in middle of night
Reviewed By 317madVery disappointing..tried to reach management to address concerns and they never bothered to talk to us to resolve the issues. The bed was dirty and had hair all over the sheets. In the tub there was long black hair. Disgusting! I called the front desk and a woman came up and said there was nobody there to clean even though it was early afternoon so she just ran the tub and made the hair go down the drain! What kind of cleaning is that? I asked for the manager many times and no one was available and when I sent emails I received no response. Even in the restaurant there were holes in the ceiling right above our table from water leaks. The worst was getting up at night to use the bathroom and there were roaches on the door!! They should be ashamed of themselves for not assisting guests and not cleaning.

Embarrassment for Choice Hotels
Reviewed By jessicasB9192DHThis place should be shut down. Rooms are not cleaned yet the Lobby Area is shut down to guests due to Covid. Spider webs and Cobwebs fill the entire room. Headboards, walls and fridge are left with what looks like years of previous guests messes. Towels and sheets are stained, dirty and my guess not even washed. The safety latch on the door is not useable. I had to walk to the Lobby for assistance because the Front Desk employee wouldn’t answer the phone after many attempts of calling. Choice Hotels should be embarrassed. This Econolodge is a MAJOR HEALTH RISK.

Reviewed By Caron CI stayed here as a travel nurse with my service dog. They were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good Continental breakfast. They had coffee all of the time. I worked nights and was able to sleep good during the day. Mostly contractors stayed here it was very convenient. The room was comfortable and large. I had 2 beds and a sofa sleeper. My husband joined me halfway into my trip and he made friends with the staff. They helped him find the local fishing spots. Lake Blackshear was only a 20 minute drive. They had a Hot air balloon festival while we were there but it was too windy to go up, but nonetheless it was exciting to see. It is a little quite town. You must visit Carter’s chicken and the Fish House downtown. Kevin, Contel and Pricilla was very helpful. Rooms were cleaned great! We cooked for them and they cooked for us. We bought a little Thing to cook on plus their many grills! Nice picnic area and plenty of places for the dogs to play!
