Great location of the pool. 6. Breakfast is good. Cons: 1. Rooms are not ready for check in time. 2. No spare keycard.Makes our stay inconvenient. 3. Room service is so slow. 4. Staff are not helpful. Recommendation: 1. Please add more staff to accomadate your fully booked bookings. 2. Please train your staff on how to handle proper customer service.

Our stay was undeniably amazzziiiinggggg. Their suite room was huge and clean. Beds were well arranged as well. What else can i say? The staff of Almont City Hotel were very polite and accommodating. Want to enjoy and relax ? Then choose this hotel. Every penny is worth the quality of this hotel.

Comfortable Stay in the heart of Butuan
Reviewed By JustJyvI booked 3 nights here (2n in a Junior Suite & 1n in their standard room). I wouldn't say they have the best amenities nor that everything was well-maintained (especially the standard rooms) but I liked that rooms are huge and it's a place where kids can enjoy the pool. Also. they're not very strict on the number of guests that can use the hotel's amenities. The staff are courteous and responsive when a request is placed, and the hotel's restaurant and cafe are nice places to chill or do remote work. What I don't like is that the hotel has their own curfew (they close the main gate at 12midnight) and lights are off on their reception and pathways.

Worst HOTEL of my LIFE!
Reviewed By jamesstayTotal NIGHTMARE! the other good reviews are lies. There was a mouse jump out at me as soon as I got in the room. ants all over the floor and mold on the walls. I asked to speak to a manager and the staff REFUSED! They offer a free breakfast but messed up the order and refused to correct it. they said too bad take it or leave it. This place would be shut down by the health department in the United States. The staff would be fired immediately but once again, they refuse to let anyone speak to a manager and no manager is on duty because its a very small hotel, only about 15 rooms. My wife and I are stuck in this nightmare for 5 days. Worst hotel of my life!

Reviewed By JaimephI stayed for over a week at this hotel. I was not really happy with their wifi connection inside the room its very slow or drops off or nothing at all. I had to go downstairs to the lounge area to be able to have wifi. The water was yellowish and smelt like mud or rust. Cockroaches were everywhere. Unfortunately, I made an upfront full payment of my entire stay on the first day and the hotel has ‘no refund policy’. So i had to bear with these issues. Otherwise, the staff were so good and kind. I felt their warmth hospitality. The hotel’s location is very convenient to restaurants, hospital, gym and 7eleven. If wifi is your life, this one is not the one. Thank you....?

Great New Year's Eve at Gazebo!
Reviewed By CzarEmmanuelIt was the end of the year and I was on a short visit to Butuan City to see some friends. That's when we decided to look for a place where to spend New Year's Eve, and that's how i discovered the Gazebo Pools and Restaurant in Cabadbaran .. around 30mins away from Butuan City. The resort has five swimming pools - two for kinds (with slides) and three for adults. They have nice rooms and cottages for rent. We were about 12 in the group and we decided to rent one big family room and one room for 2pax. All rooms were air-conditioned and have private rest/shower room. I think I paid around 7,000 pesos for the one-night accommodation, plus 500 pesos for one big cottage by the pool. Although they have a kitchen and you can order foods and drinks from the counter, we bought some foods and drinks with us, which was okay with the resort management. The stay was very relaxing and fun. The group spent most of the time swimming, eating and drinking as we waited for the new year to start. No curfew. They also have a videoke room for rent (I think for 2000 pesos for three to four hours). The following day, the 1st of January, lots of groups started to arrive, while we were already checking out of the resort. All in all, it was a very nice experience. We had fun and a very peaceful night rest.

Reviewed By Steve RI Stayed at the Dotties places hotel with a colleague in January,our original booking was for two weeks but we were both so impressed with the exemplary service we decided to extend our booking for a further two weeks. The hotel is situated within walking distance of local shops and amenities and only a short journey to the wonderful countryside and beaches. We both enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the evening eating the 1st class local cuisine prepared for us by the hotel chef The manager and staff were extraordinary kind and helpful to the extent of working beyond their normal hours to help us with our complicated travel arrangements. I hope to return to the Dotties in the future and have no hesitation in recommending staying at this hotel.

Business Traveller? Choose Another Hotel
Reviewed By Jeremiah Eleaze... SWe mistakenly chose this hotel for our two-day training, and it was one of the mistakes we had to endure. The staff assigned to the function seem to not know what food were served, since they do not have labels and we have colleagues who have food restrictions. The room needs improvement on quality and security - I didn't notice if sprinklers are present. The comfort room was below satisfaction - the water stinks and definitely disgusting. We always use mineral/bottled water to brush our teeth. A participant of ours noted that their room had cockroaches and spiders. Location is quite interior - maybe because there is also a feel that this is a motel for short-time stay. Definitely not going back!
