Wonderful location, view and food in the alps
Reviewed By swissbugLocation was ideal, the hotel was very modern and the decor rustic chalet chic, bedroom was large and bed huge and comfy. kettle, coffee and a fridge (very rare in switzerland) the pool and spa area were great. yes the outdoor "infinity" pool was small -the indoor pool is much better, cooler and larger (forget the insta shot) and the sauna area very nice if you can overlook your shyness (no swim suits) Restaurant Gwyn Williams lived up to it's expectations. The food was exceptional and not at all small portions like others have described. The yuzu sorbet is almost better than the one you find in Japan. Breakfast was good too. Staff were friendly but they should definately ensure the pool area is monitored as it was overcrowded. Kudos to your spa area cleaner he was the most strict about the distance spacing - you should commend him, he was doing a better job than the others.

From a coffee on the terrace to a drink in the bar to a meal in the restaurant, it never disappoints. The food is excellent, the service is always friendly and the facilities are deserving of more stars than they advertise. The pool area is comfortable with great views. There is a kids room that is a paradise for toddlers to teenagers. We‘ve been visiting the Adler for 4 years and have never been disappointed.

Excellent stay for a ski trip
Reviewed By tim_a_clarkI made a fairly late decision to visit Adelboden for a week long skiing trip with my son and a friend. I had stayed at the Beausite previously, so it was my first choice. Although the hotel has changed ownership since my last visit we certainly weren’t disappointed. Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late on a Sunday night but we still received a very warm welcome. Our rooms were very clean and well presented and were perfectly adequate and comfortable after a long day skiing. The bathroom was perhaps starting to look a little old fashioned compared with some of the big chain hotels but was perfectly clean, well appointed and functional. The buffet breakfast offered a good range, with cereals, yogurt, meats, cheeses and bread as well as freshly cooked eggs, omelettes and bacon to order. We had dinner most evenings from the set menu, which was good value and very enjoyable. We also tried the fondue in the vintage bus one evening, which was excellent too. All the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. I thank Omi and his team for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable. I am sure we will return soon!

Close to Center but not too close

The breakfast was good and the hotel itself was just what we wanted, close to the village but just a bit away from the middle of everything. And there was parking (if you were lucky).

Reviewed By Johannes CVery pleasant hotel with very supportive staff. Nice breakfast, very good diner, all at very reasonable price. The bar area is not very large but was adequate for our group of eleven. Ski room, large restaurant and a spa with bubble bath and sauna.

Unaffected and genuine. The 86 rooms are for 1-4 people with a total of 188 beds. With all essential things to instinctively feel good: shower, toilet, TV and mostly with a direct view of the mountains. Fast WiFi and streaming offers for films, series and music are a matter of course.
Clean and modern buy very expensive for the tiny and basic rooms

excellent hotel in great spot.

Despite being in a great area, we had one of the few rooms with absolute no view (stunning view to the opposite side), next to the elevator and w smells coming (kitchen ?) when we opened the window for air. The room was very newly decorated and the mattress was excellent and a nice bathroom. Problem with the room was that if you do not have a view from the room, you dont get one either in the restaurant . Very professional staff and good service overall. Great restaurants (best on the trip) and greatest breakfast buffet in many years. I can definitely recommend to stay but make sure you get a room with a view. (not too many electrical outlets for charging)

The centure of the village is less than 100 meters away. The cable car station is only 100 meters away, the hiking pass ist included from June to October.
great hotel in quiet location in well placed alpine village
Reviewed By LizMMKStayed for a week at Christmas at this great little hotel. Located in a quiet location at the edge of the town but only yards from the Main Street and Cable car. Classic alpine hotel, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely room with a balcony and a great view of the mountains. The food was brilliant. All made to order. I'm a vegetarian and there was a really good main veggie option night. Adelboden has 2 cable car stations. I think it would be a great location for summer walking holidays. Lots of nice shops in village.

Schönes Hotel, zentral, Betten etwas hart
Reviewed By MadPad33Das Zimmer ist sehr ausgeklügelt und hat eine tolle Ausstattung. Die Küche hat speziell viel Geräte und Zubehör. Bei der Qualität des Bestecks / der Pfanneb gibt es jedoch etwas Abstriche. Die Betten haben leider keinen Rost und man liegt direkt auf einer Holzplatte. Wir haben selten so schlecht geschlafen, was leider unseren Gesamtaufenthalt getrübt hat. Die buchbaren Essen Sets sind lässig und innovativ. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral. Die Garageneinfahrt sehr eng, mit grossen Autos wird es schwierig. Dafür hat es im 2UG tolle Elektroparkplätze. Im April ist leider absolut tote Hose in Adelboden. Ein Restaurant zu finden war eine Herausforderung. (Das Mr Cordon im EG ist gut und fein, wir haben es gerne genutzt) Bei schlechtem Wetter ist das Zimmer für 5 Personen zu klein. Zum Glück wurde es schnell wieder schön. Das Team ist nur via E-Mail und Chat erreichbar, war für uns kein Problem und hat immer sehr schnell reagiert und war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmerpreise sind am oberen Ende der Skala für die Grösse der Zimmer sowie diese Betten. Wir haben schon einiges weniger bezahlt für viel mehr Platz und top Betten. Ein Detail, der Bewegungsmelder am Eingang vor dem WC sollte in der Nacht deaktiviert werden können oder viel weniger hell leuchten. Die Personen auf dem vorderen Bett werden sonst jeweils geblendet in der Nacht. Ich bin ein Fan von Digitalisierung und Orten wo man alles alleine machen kann. Die Umsetzung mit der responsive Website welche als App bezeichnet wird ist etwas mangelhaft. Bei Ankunft lud die Seite zuerst nicht richtig und auch während des Aufenthalts ging es manchmal 30 Sekunden bis man den digitalen Zimmerschlüssel hatte um die Türe zu öffnen. Allenfalls wäre eine richtige App hier der bessere Weg. Auch die Buchung der Pauschale war nur via Email und Handy (Kreditkarten Daten) möglich. Eine Buchung in einem digitalen Hotel sollte sehr einfach und spontan möglich sein und voll automatisiert. Denke das wird aber noch weiter ausgebaut / umgesetzt. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, wir haben die Berge genossen und sind zum Wasserfall gewandert. Wir hätten es aber nicht länger als 3 Nächte auf den Betten ausgehalten. Wegen der Betten werden wir wohl nicht so schnell wieder kommen, wir wünschen dem Hotel jedoch viel Erfolg und hoffen Sie können die paar Punkte noch verbessern.
