It's well located, close to shops and restaurants, as well as to a public parking that provides a fix daily date of 12€ to the hostel's guests. Old building, partially refurbished, with original cracking wooden floors, which means that, the higher up, the better as you won't have people above. It had 4 floors, with a lift that goes up to the 3rd floor. With regards to the rooms, depending on the luck if the draw, you'll get a large, refurbished, comfortable one or a tiny, old fashioned, with the tiniest bathroom I think I've ever seen, so tiny the wash basin doesn't fit and it's placed in the bedroom! We chose this hostel after reading travelers opinions, which said rooms were spacious, with comfortable bed and the parking option. Once we did the checkin, we went to the designated room and when we're got there, the cleaning lady had just started with it. We wanted to get going so went in to leave our luggage and were shocked to see the tiny room I described before. This made getting changed whilst the lady was trying to make the bed (small and against the wall). This ended up being our lucky straw. Another lady (someone related to the manager) appeared and when she saw what was going on, decided to move us into a room cleaned and ready for guests. After a bit of a run around the hostel, we ended up in the only room on the 4th floor which did meet the description we'd read on travellers comments. Large, with a solarium, comfortable double bed and proper bathroom. In the end all went well but only cause we got lucky so, I can only say....GOOD LUCK! Not to sure I'd come back or recommend

We were on a weekend outing with 14 friends and stopped here for lunch. The set menu is 15€ and the food was good, all hand made and despite ordering the set menu the owner went the extra mile and allowed us to change dishes. The village was very quiet (April) but im sure in the summer months it fills up with holidaymakers as it is 10 kms from the source of the Cuervo river, which is well worth visiting.

We are the first hostel to open in Cuenca, with capacity to accommodate more than 40 people in a exclusive location- a building from the end of the 19th century. We offer you different types of accommodation according to your needs: double rooms, family rooms with private bathroom or shared ones. But if you are looking for events, exhibitions or activities, tell us what you need.
The receptionist is lovely. The kitchen, rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was coffee, a selection of teas, toast, cereal and prepackaged muffins. It’s also a good walking distance to everything. There are lockers under the bed, but they are small so don’t rely on them. Overall, it was a relaxed environment and a lovely view.

Some friends and I booked here for a weekend in Cuenca, and one of the reasons was that I'd read it was "10 minutes from downtown". And it is--but "downtown" isn't the old city! It was a 10-minute walk to the bus stop, but because it was the weekend the buses only came every half an hour. So, we walked up to the old city. We do like walking, so it wasn't a big problem, but the hostal is really too far to be a comfortable stay if you're in Cuenca for a short time to see the old town. It's on a hill, so you walk down in the morning but when you return, it's a climb. In its favor, it really is a nice place; clean, comfortable, good breakfast (they offer "real" bread and yogurt, along with packaged sweetrolls), friendly staff, a place to park, and the price/quality mix was tops.

Hostal de 2 estrellas ubicado en la villa de Cañete, en plena Serranía de Cuenca. Contamos con restaurante y todas las comodidades (calefacción baño privado, etc.).
I only had a portion of four different mushrooms and they were delicious. Nothing fancy about this place, but I liked it that there were locals in the place and the service was very good. Should you be in the neighborhood.

Placed in full heart of the SAWS OF CUENCA and ALBARRACIN, our establishment enjoys a privileged situation, from that we can visit all the places of tourist and cultural interest, with a minimal displacement given his(her, your) geographical situation.

When you go to a new town it’s hard when you are alone and don’t know anyone. In my case I was lucky to have booked my stay in the beautiful hostal. Both owners Pepa and Jesus have really put their heart and soul into this place creating a lovely atmosphere. They really know how to treat new comers like myself. All the accommodations are perfect comfortable. I felt at home, both dogs o got to meet where really cute and well trained. I rate this place 10/10. Definitely recommend!!!

We travelled through Spain during the summer of 2017 and came across this little gem by accident. We wanted a coffee but ended up staying for 2 nights (and then again for 2 nights during our return drive to France). Do not be put off by the hostel part of its name, because Hostel ISIS is more like a privately run hotel with all amenities. Be aware that this place is not luxurious, though I think it once was before the main road that serviced it was moved by 50yards (thus making it tranquil and noise free); saying that however it does have a high standard of functionality and cleanliness and the staff (even though we speak no Spanish) were attentive and friendly. The chalets, with air con, TV, WIFI, fridge, shower and comfy beds are a little dated, as is the whole site, but we British would call this charmingly none corporate. Drinks (G&T) were huge and cheap, the food was adequate (rural in taste and presentation) but none the less tasty. Other then a few too many exterior flys (time of year I think) we enjoyed our stay. Cuenca town is very close by and well worth a walk around, with café culture best experienced at the very old fashioned Ritz café.

Small hostel with bar and restaurant with 80 seats capadidad, cozy and modern facilities in a rustic setting in a typical town of Castilla la Mancha, the land of "Don Quixote" (Spain) and very well connected by road with Madrid, Valencia, Alicante... Equipped with ten double rooms with TV and shower with hydromassage and internet connection wi-fi. Very good value for money.
After biking from Madrid El Camino Uclés this hostel in Villarubio was such a great surprise. Great staff. Room perfect and parking for the bikes. The lady in charge (Begoña _ Riann) when we arrived tired was just great. Thanks.

The rural Hotel is situated in open countryside in the village of Palomera, just 10 km from Cuenca. It has six double rooms and a manifold. All rooms have bathroom, television, heating and air conditioning. It also has a spacious lounge, with TV, fireplace and board games. It also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Surrounded by picturesque scenery, is ideal for hiking enthusiasts and tranquility.
Cuenco is busy, hot and touristy. Instead drive through and wind up into the hills following the signs for Palomera. In this tiny hamlet you will find Hostal restaurants la Noguera. The rooms are comfortable and plenty large enough, nice showers, and look out over the bar courtyard. There is a great atmosphere in the bar, the food is smashing, eat at lunchtime because it is very quiet in the evening. You have breakfast to yourself in the huge dining room above the bar. Surrounding the village are lovely hills and nature trails. Simply brilliant.
