Great hostel apart from ‘kitchen’
Reviewed By madisonfrainHostel beds are very comfy and the communal area is nice to chill in. The rooms are slightly small and not much space for luggage (very narrow). The ‘kitchen’ is an absolute joke. Very dirty and extremely limited utensils and cooking appliances. Hostel would be much better value for money if it had a proper kitchen

Reviewed By Mobile49713490484This was the worst accomodation I have ever seen. No ammenities in the room. The room smelt, stained carpet, holes in the curtains, holes in the floor boards, the carpet held the floor together. There was no heating/cooling. This should be condemned.

The Billabong has just completed a major renovations and has two floors of brand new rooms that are the best in Perth. We have dorms, private rooms and even deluxe double rooms that are like a hotel room but at a fraction of the price! ***Just voted Best Backpackers in Western Australia 2015*** Some of the facilities available are private bathrooms in all rooms including dorms, Air-conditioning, swimming pool, female only dorms, free parking, free breakfast, laundry, tour desk, WIFI, internet cafe and many more. Located on the funky Beaufort St it's a short walk to cafes, restaurants, bars and the centre on the city. Billabong is the ultimate in traveler accommodation.
Great hostel, felt unaffected by covid

The facilities are really good, with one of the most feature-rich kitchens I've seen in a hostel (ovens and gas hobs... Unreal!). The common areas were large and plentiful, movie room, large dining room, pool etc. Couldn't ask for much more. Could imagine it'd be a great place for living longer term also, not just for the short term like myself. Loved the location, stones throw away from everything! 24 hour reception so I always felt safe and secure. Could not fault it! Stay here!

Reviewed By filippolL7786XDI stayed at this hostel for over a week with a friend and I have to admit it’s a very nice hostel, big kitchen fully furnished, the rooms are nice and staff are extremely friendly. Shout out to Johnny, very professional and accommodating! ?? I would stay here again!

North Lodge offers safe, quality and quiet budget accommodation. We are a small hotel with a quiet, restful atmosphere for travellers. We are not a party hotel. North Lodge is situated about 5 - 10 minutes walk from the centre of Perth City and is close to all of the major public transport facilities. We have a range of different types of rooms from twin rooms, double and single rooms to apartments with ensuite facilities. The usual configuration of our self-contained apartment rooms is one double bed and 1 or more single beds, so some are able to cater for up to 4 people. Most of our self-contained rooms that have ensuite facilities also have a microwave, TV, toaster, kettle and small fridge.

Free bus service City Cat blue stop at stop 6 about 5 minutes walk with IGA on way. The room was adequate and ground floor. Clean and very quite. Although advertised as kitchenette, this consisted of a table with a toaster, jug and micro. Adequate for me. Coffee making facilities advertised but first night no cups, glasses or cutlery in room, though lots of plates. No tea or coffee either. Next morning cleaner rectified on request. Small glitch but enjoyed my stay as value for money and ideal location.

Britannia on William is a budget backpacker style accommodation, it does have a number of private rooms and shared rooms. These are very basic rooms that offer a great rate for the budget traveller. We are a backpacker's hostel, not a hotel. Shared facilities, bathrooms, kitchen and TV rooms. We have a spacious courtyard and are open 24 hours a day. Please call if you have any further questions.
