Overall pretty good!

Overall a very nice place. Charming, nicely furnished, very clean, staff super helpful. Only caveat was the wooden staircase in front of 1st floor bedroom. It gets loud when people come in late or leave early. I’d recommend getting the upper floor apartment.

He stayed a single night with Thibault and family in their beautiful guest house, and we will definitely be back. We were made to feel very welcome, and were served a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are clean, and have been decorated to a high standard. Secure off-road parking is available, the setting is perfect with a magnificent garden, hard to fault given the local array of restaurants and vineyards. Thankyou Thibault and CECILE

Delightful French-Japanese fusion, both in terms of accommodation and cuisine!

A true find, only a few kilometres away from the Chateau du Clos de Vougeot, in Bourgogne! Philippe Delacourcelle and his son Nicolas will receive you and ensure you are comfortable in one of their spacious and sunlit rooms, surrounded by huge trees which, on account of the very large windows, are practically part of the decoration. Comfortable bed and very nice bathroom! (The only thing missing was a shelf or a drawer to unpack some items.. ). Now to the cuisine: Philippe is a Chef and he has owned a number of restaurants, both in Paris and in Tokyo. His menus are quite superb and he prepares these in an open kitchen, while you watch, and the results are amazingly good. He has also assembled a collection of excellent wines from the surrounding producers, including a quite perfect Maranges! Breakfast is very good also, with Nicolas cheerfully helping one to coffee or tea. We shall definitely return.

We have spent many Summer holidays in Burgundy and we were delighted with our experience at L'Art D'Une Pause this year.we stayed for one week in each Gîte and found the accommodation very comfortable with all appliances one would need. There is also a separate BBQ area for each Gîte.. No expense has been spared in terms of the pool. It is wonderful and with the glorious Summer in Burgundy this year, most welcome. There are plenty of comfortable Beds and pool toys to keep the children entertained. Cathy and Franc were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our visit to Cathy's atelier where we had the opportunity to see some of her paintings and sculptures. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will definitely be back next year Pat and Fionnuala
