Quite lovely
Reviewed By Ker0sineOn the outside the hotel doesn't look too stylish, but inside it's actually quite lovely. Our little apartment was sparkling clean, nicely designed and pleasantly quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet (great selection of food for both vegetarians and meat eaters, plus great cappuccino) and the location (directly on the beach, 20 minutes walk to the castle). A really nice experience in a family friendly hotel.

Everything Good But the Shower...
Reviewed By Art_Blackburn_CCEverything about the hotel is quite nice. Check-in was easy. The premises are clean. Elevator works fine. My room on the fifth floor was well appointed with a modern bathroom and nice, fluffy cotton sheets, pillows and comforter. The views were average. Drinks were available round the clock and the location is excellent. Very quiet except the occasional chatter of other guests. Room had a nice kitchenette. The only drawback: The comedian next door liked to torture me in the shower. First he froze me out, then he tried to scald me. In the summer keep the temperature at lukewarm. The perp can do little to harm at that temperature! A great value for the money! I would stay here again.

Functional and pleasant
Reviewed By JamesSDochertyNeeding a hotel near the university, I picked this one based on positive reviews and location. With free on street parking, though this is slightly luck of the draw, it's a very pleasant functional place. The rooms are simple but well appointed, the towels are good, the breakfast a good buffet selection. A bar would be the cherry on the cake, but the vending machine is well stocked and does include beer. It does what's needed and does it well

Schönes Haus mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern
Reviewed By Rita SEin wunderschönes altes Haus, die Wohnung im OG ist für bis zu 6 Personen ausgeschrieben. Die versprochene hochwertige Einrichtung haben wir nicht gefunden. Mobiliar teilweise renovierungsbedürftig und abgenutzt. Geschirr und Kochgeschirr dürftig bzw. unvollständig. Dieser Wohnung fehlt ein Hausmeister, der z.b. den spritzenden Wasserhahn repariert resp. Verkalkungen entfernt. Spritzschutz zur gestrichenen Wand nicht vorhanden. Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad fehlen. Die Wohnung besitzt keinen Balkon, im Prospekt ist von Außensitzplätzen die Rede. Die zwei Außensitzplätze verteilen sich auf zwei Wohnungen von insgesamt vieren, von denen einer der Familie gehört. Eine klare Zuordnung bzw. Anschaffung der zwei fehlenden Plätze wäre schön.

Fassungslos….
Reviewed By Zuckerpuppe2Spontanes Kurzwochenende, daher haben wir es ‘hingenommen‘, ansonsten wären wir wieder abgereist! Die Frontansicht ist noch sehr ansprechend, aber spätestens wenn man auf das Grundstück geht, empfangen einem die ersten ‘Highlights‘. Alte Fahrräder ohne Bereifung, alte Sonnenschirme in den Beeten, neben einem alten Feuerlöscher. Vor der Eingangstür der Schrubber und ein Tretmülleimer. Im Treppenhaus stolpert man als erstes über ein Klappbett, dann über den deponierten Staubsauger. Eine Etage höher wird es noch abenteuerlich, denn dort steht im Flur ein faltbares Kinderbett, Wäscheständer, eine Leiter und ein Wäschekorb. All das steht dort nicht kurzfristig, sondern wurde dort die ganze Zeit geparkt! Dann kommt man in die Ferienwohnung und die Sprachlosigkeit bleibt bestehen. Das Bad ist so eng und klein, da geht’s nur vorwärts rein und rückwärts wieder raus. Keine Chance sich zu drehen! Im Schlafzimmer muss man, um an den Kleiderschrank zu kommen, am Fußende vom Bett vorbei. Ich bin 176 und wiege 70 kg, ich hatte Schwierigkeiten zwischen Wand und Bett durchzukommen, so eng ist es. Der vorhandene Fernseher hat keinerlei eingestellte Programme. ZDF haben wir dann irgendwann auf dem Programmspeicher 146 gefunden. Diverse Sachen in der aufgeführten Küchenausstattung fehlten, die Stubenlampe war zerrissen und die Abdeckung des Heizkörpers total verbogen. Um es jetzt ‘kurz‘ zu machen, denn ich könnte so weiter schreiben, es ist alles sehr abgewohnt und entspricht in keiner Weise den Angaben des Vermieters. Wie zum Beispiel der angegebene ‘Meerblick‘. Vom Balkon sieht man zwischen den ganzen Hochhäusern in der Ferne ein Fitzel blaues Wasser! Hier wird absolut nur Kasse gemacht und alles andere zählt nicht !!!!
