we love coming here, the apartments are lovely with plenty of space, very clean, great staff, the all important morning bread delivery. The main reason for coming here since 2016 is its location, out of the cosy boot room and literally straight on to the beginners piste (which has a magic carpet) so perfect for families with children starting out skiing, also less than 50 metres from the ski school meeting place (Evolution, much better than ESF) Highly recommended!

What a total sh*tshow. The whole apartment smelt like someone did vomit all over the place. The cleaning lady confirmed, but when the manager came in, he didn’t agree: maybe it smells like dogs, he said. - for real!?! Cleaned it ourselves for more then an hour and the cleaning lady came by twice. Didn’t help AT ALL. A little amount of money was the compensation - for real: not even worth a beer a person… Never again. Really bad experience. Bread service and beds where good.

Arc 1800 Village Club: An action-packed holiday!Set at the heart of Charmettoger, at the foot of the slopes (depending on snow), Arc 1800 Village Club is the ideal place to spend a family holiday in Savoie. This lively resort, sculpted in the Red Needle range, is the perfect door to paradise where you can immerse yourself in a snowy landscape. We have numerous slopes where you can leave the Club with skis on.
We stayed at Village Club du Soleil Arc 1800 for one week with our one-year old baby. The hotel is perfect for a family holidays: the club bebe is amazing, staff kind and extremely professional. Many activities were organized during the week, usually at the ski-station which was located 10-minutes walking. We had access to the swimming pool and spa area, highly recommend the swimming pool with Jacuzzi inside and lovely view of the mountains. The location is nice and quiet. Every evening some entertainment (music, karaoke, cabaret) was available in the hotel itself. Buffet was fine, although being Italian I could not approach the pasta (overcooked and used as side dish), but luckily other choices were usually ok. Rooms were nice and big, although some additional equipment may have been useful (i.e. fridge, boiler, locker). Strongly recommended for families with babies and kids.

A family free car resortDoorstep skiingA residence offering relaxation areas and ‘Deep Nature Spa' by Algotherm services
When we arrived the beds were unmade, the bathroom was dirty with grime and mould all over the cubical, one of the sinks was broken, the foot stalls were burnt by the radiator. There was not enough toilet paper for a week which is unbelievable. There was dog poo in front of our window and on the snow outside the balcony. The rooms were poorly sound proofed and we didn’t sleep well for the entire week. The people that stay here obviously do not care enough to clean up for themselves. The space itself is conveniently located for skiing and the insides of the apartments are spacious with a lot of potential if they were renovated. There is a pastry service which was basic but helpful. For a group of people with no standards I suppose it would be fine. We won’t be returning or recommending.

Positives -- Arcs 2000 is great for skiing, they arrange daily deliveries of bread and pastries, they lend out fondu pots, nice pool and steam room (even if you have to access through the garage!), decent beds and showers Negatives -- overheated with terrible insulation, tiny kitchen with dull knives, quite cramped for 8 people, assessing a cleaning charge unless you carry out a deep clean prior to leaving
