Nice place to stay in Ventspils

Great atmosphere
Reviewed By mousivnLovely place near the sea (short walk through the wood, 10 min max). Rooms are OK, but nothing too special. The hotel grounds, though, are lovely. Very beautiful and relaxing and well kept. Definitely worth coming and visiting during the Summer when you can just lounge around and chill. Has a fridge in the room, as well as shared kitchen available. Good breakfast served in a stunning building. Would recommend for Summer for sure!

No sound isolation, night disco in the next building, bad quality appartments
Reviewed By NGO_nadezdaLocation came with surprises - night club with extremely loud music located in the next building, can't sleep until 3 AM. No normal curtains, very light and hot already in the early morning - I would say, it was the worse sleeping experience ever. You need to wait for hot water in shower about 10 minutes in the morning, door to the toilet almost broken, so hard to get out, especially for kids. Hostel level, not higher.

Best lake resort
Reviewed By Lealee84The lake resort is fab surrounded by pine woods. In the log cabin you have a bedroom with fresh bedding and kitchen where you have access to the kettle. You can rent a boat for 10 euros per day and jet ski for 90 euros per hour. There is a rope track in the tree tops for the more adventurous people for 8ish euro's. Quad bikes and normal bikes are some of other things you can rent for leisure activities. Outside the log cabin you have pick nick table, bbq, place for fire and you can purchase wood for 3 euros (enough for a 1 day stay). Traditional latvian sauna is also available but have to book ahead of time as when we were there is was already booked. They only accept cash.

Great little apartment!
Reviewed By mmarkybWe loved our stay here. Very clean, bright, spacious and light. Comfy beds. The lady who looks after it lives downstairs is lovely and would do anything to help with your stay. Just around the corner is Loms and Anna eateries which are incredible value. 15m walk into town but very quiet area. Good value!

Amazing
Reviewed By ilzeh2014Amazing place. We stayed here for (only) 2 nights at one of the houses and were so impressed! The house had everything!! It was not like some poor camping cabin, no, it was more like a proper hotel. We had everything from cooking utensils, tv, baby beds (upon request) till ice cubes at the freezer! It really seemed that the owners had ambitions to give us a vacation they would love to go to themselves. Besides the amazing house, beach is only 100m away, there is cafe with rich menu and reasonable places. Playground for all ages (inclusive seqway for dad) :) We are blown away of how good this was and will come back next summer.

Great guesthouse near the beautiful park, not far from the sea
Reviewed By RainigaWe visited the guesthouse with family and were very pleased for the quality, cleaness, hospitality we found in guesthouse Maija. It is next to a very beautiful park and small lake, great place for kids. Lot to do there. Great value for money, as it was not expensive. There is a private picturesque area for the barbeque, the owner Maija, offered a grill as well, so we had a great dinner outside with the family. We rented the bikes and had sightseeing around the town. I believe this is the best way to have a sightseeing there. The beach is rather near, the seaside there is beautiful. Recommend to book in advance, as in summer it can get busy here.
