Reviewed By christravel123897We got a room with pillows without pillowcases. The reception couldn’t help us with pillowcases and the staff was rude. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this place. Choose another hotel in this village.

Good size lounge room plus a separate bedroom and a kitchenette containing a double hot plate, microwave oven and large fridge ~ even has a small dishwasher. The bathroom is strangely the pick of the rooms! It contains a large shower unit plus a full size bath ~ all in a neat and clean condition. Disappointingly, the rest of the rooms have a very dirty feel about them. The carpet throughout is filthy and covered in bad stains. Would be worried to walk barefooted through this place! Crockery and utensils were not clean enough to use without a preliminary wash. Dish washer still contained dishes from a previous guest. Front desk lady was extremely pleasant and helpful. Good English spoken here. Hotel is centrally positioned and a easy walk to shops and a large park adjacent to the river. A 3 minute walk to the train station.

Welcome to Residence Chateau Ferrassieres Enjoy the peaceful ambience of Provence Chateau Ferrassieres is located in the Drome region of Provence. Its hallmark is a relaxed ambience where you can enjoy all the luxuries it has to offer at your own pace and in your own time. It is a small-scale residential complex comprising 21 apartments only (studios and T2s) bordering onto a nature reserve and surrounded by lavender fields. Residence Chateau Ferrassieres is located just outside the village of Ferrassieres, which is mainly known for its lavender festival. These festivities, with their lovely ambience, are held annually on the first Sunday in July. The Chateau forms part of the natural landscape of the Mont Ventoux, which is a UNESCO-protected landscape. This area also comprises the small villages of Sault and Montbrun les Bains. The latter is one of the prettiest (medieval) villages in France and is known for its spa and medical treatments that can be enjoyed in the local thermal baths.
A great place to stay among lavender fields
Reviewed By Tijs LA very warm welcome by Marek and Bianca. Both fluently speak Dutch, French and English, professionally but also informally running their residence. The apartment is luxuriously equipped with all the facilities one requires for a pleasant stay. The inbuilding pool including a sauna is perfect to execute one's daily exercises, however, going outside for a walk along the lavender fields, pretty old villages may be even more entertaining. Definitely a place to come back, whenever visiting the area!

Reviewed By Hu HHoliday-Club type organised "residence" + lots of animation programmes, for both children and adults (French) beautiful building with courtyard quietness after 22.00hrs pm rooms very simple standard but really clean beautiful mountains for climbing and hiking ( but not with children) - no parking nearby, every bottle of water has to be carried a long, long, long way... and then: lots of stairs, no lift litter also has to be carried a long long way away from the premises to another street tiny rooms, unsuitable for the amount of persons indicated ( 4/5 is rather a room for 1-2) tiny bathroom, too tiny for 4 people no English speaking staff on site at front desk, there was no way to get even an easy question answered staff was not too friendly to non-french speakers

Reviewed By MattyL10We had a sensational meal in the newly renovated garden. The owners are such lovely people who worked tirelessly to accommodate us. The food, wine and service were all first class. The restaurant is so good and wonderfully accommodating we decided to go back 3 more times. Side note .... the burgers just can’t be beaten.

home away from home
Reviewed By Mark Lif you're planning to spend a few days, a week or more in provence, the classic village of montbrun is a perfect home base from which you can explore the whole region and the chateau is a wonderful place to stay. for not too many $$$, you get a condo-type apartment that can easily sleep 3 or a family. you can cook if you want, eat at their restaurant, snack at the nearby piscine or swim in their beautiful pool, stroll into the village, take the cure at the thermal baths next door... the property and the views are spectacular. it's quiet and peaceful to return to after a long day in the provencal sun. the staff and the guests are nice the atmosphere is cosmopolitan. I spent almost three weeks here and was truly sorry to leave.

Reviewed By Lars SVi boede på Le Vercors Park i 14 dage og blev mødt med venlighed fra personalet. Stedet ligger dejligt stille kun 2 min. Gang fra centrum og har en god swimmingpool med liggestole og er rent og velholdt. Lejlighederne har en god teresse og mange med udsigt til bjergene. Behøver man ikke megen service og hjælp fra de ansatte, da receptionen lukker i middagsperioden er det helt klart et sted, som anbefales. Vi kommer gerne igen.
