Nebraska has something for everyone. From cowboys to wine industry, you’ll find many attractions when you visit this Great Plains state. If you are planning a family vacation to Nebraska, you won’t want to miss the Lincoln Children's Zoo in the state capital. Featuring more than 400 animals, you and the kids can see Amur leopards, Bactrian camels, river otters, eagles, crocodiles, reindeer, and more. At the zoo’s Butterfly Pavilion you can watch as butterflies emerge from their cocoon. The Aquacourt Family Water Park in Hastings features a wave pool, climbing wall and waterslides. In Omaha, Nebraska’s largest city, you won’t want to miss the Omaha Children's Museum. For history buffs, Lincoln is your place. This city is home to the Nebraska History Museum, with permanent exhibits that interpret more than 12,000 years of human experience on the Plains. You can make history personal in Lincoln with a visit to the Nebraska State Historical Society Headquarters, where you can research your family history. Omaha is also home to The Durham Museum, featuring restored train cars, 1940's storefronts and other historical artifacts. For a bit of Nebraska heritage, make sure you visit Front Street and Cowboy Museum in Ogallala and the Tri-State Old Time Cowboys Memorial Museum in Gordon. Learn about the area’s wine industry and history on a Nebraska Cork & Bottle Tour through Raymond, Pawnee City, Lexington and St. Paul, sampling fine wines and taking in the scenic views.

No amenities, nothing mowed, and they allow guns to be shot. Won’t be staying there. Not very welcoming or scenic. I really don’t think guns should be shot in a camp ground. I doubt many guests would stay there.

We were only passing through on our way to Colorado but this was an excellent location and experience! The family had a relaxing evening playing horse shoes and walking around the lake. The couple running the place were so sweet! We recommend it without reservations!

Stopped here on our way East and we’re glad we did. We called ahead and were told there were plenty of spaces. The park is large and was relatively filled. Pleasant staff, clean campground, large pull through sites, nice dog park. It has a very peaceful atmosphere.

A great one night get away for our family

Reviewed By jhanseling

We stayed her for a night in March, 2022. Booked The Loft cabin for our family of five. Not a huge cabin, but plenty of room. We brought our own food, and there was just enough room in the small dorm size fridge for what we brought along. We didn't realize there wasn't an oven, but used coffee mugs to cook eggs for breakfast in the microwave. Beds were comfy. Made use of the hot tub and fire pit, both of which worked great. Also grilled burgers on the propane grill, which was great to have. We had some great weather, so we took advantage and completed both scavenger hunts, which were a fun bonus and a great way to explore the property. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. The only downside to our trip was we lost power for about an hour, which we were told about ahead of time, but was still a bummer during breakfast to be without power for an hour. Overall a great little spot right off the interstate. Would stay again.

Best dog park ever!

Reviewed By EarthyNP

This is a beautiful RV park with all the amenities. Very easy access off major interstate. Quiet and clean, but the highlight after a long travel day is unleashing our rowdy dogs in the large fenced dog park. We also stayed at one of the patio sites, which was fun. Rest rooms and showers very clean.

Stayed here two years ago when it wasn’t a KOA with the same owners. It was a nice stay then but they have put in so much work and $$$ to make it this nice. The actual sites are nice size, LEVEL, clean, well organized, nicely labeled, nice roads in and out of park. Easy access on and of interstate. Owners are still as nice as ever!!!!

Spacious and clean

Reviewed By David G

We stayed at Robidoux RV park with friends as a jumping off point for visiting Scotts Bluff National park. The park is very large with beautiful grassy areas. They have a clubhouse that we used for a gathering, and are adjacent to a huge park where they said we could let our dogs run around off leash! The sites are level and the hookups are well positioned.
