Calm area, on the center of the Pyrenees, easy to spend holiday in country wood cottage and mobile-home. The vue is amazing to Gavarnie 40 km. Workshop wellness and garden naturel agro-eco-culture. Here we speak french english spanish and nederland. It is also a zen site where you can practise with a real teacher of mindfulness, qi gong and taichi. We waiting you to give your personal ideas to have excelents holidays. Luc et Sylvain
The mobile-homes we and our friend's family were allocated had been specifically designed for a guest in a wheelchair and looked nothing like the photos we were emailed. They were dirty and in a state of disrepair. At no point had we been told we were getting disabled mobile-homes. I truly hope they aren’t ever given to someone with a disability. On arrival at our mobile-home (number 27) we were told that to lock the front door we had to kick the bottom of the door shut and wedge the handle up. The TV perched high on top of the fridge didn’t have a remote control, so channels had to be changed at the back (not ideal for someone in a wheelchair?). The rooms were big, but dirty. The toilet flush cover had completely come off. Each bedroom had a pull down wardrobe function that flew back so fast the clothes almost fell off. We had to pay extra for bedding which must have been as old as the campsite - 30 years. Ours smelt of damp too and had to be changed. When checking in we were encouraged to pay an extra €40 for cleaning. on our departure, ironic when it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned for months! Shocking during the Covid-19 pandemic. I was so upset about the terrible mobile-home after our first night, we requested to move. We were given the option of moving to a mobile home with three bedrooms. On viewing it, we jumped at the chance to swap, our friends did too. However, after speaking to Sylvain we were informed (after a lot of shouting) that only one family could move for two nights (for an extra fee), not the three nights we had left - there was no availability. This was really disappointing, especially for our friends who had to remain in their run-down mobile-home. The new accommodation was a million times better. It was clean and equipped with amenities you’d expect - a modern kitchen with clean utensils and crockery, kettle, vacuum cleaner and with enough storage space for our food. The bedrooms were also clean and new with room for clothes. We spent two comfortable nights here which made our move back into the first grubby mobile-home even harder. I should note that before changing mobile home we also tried to move campsite, but everywhere was booked or not taking less than a week’s stay. Below is a list of the first cabin's issues (number 27: Bedroom 1 Dust everywhere, particularly under the bed Shutter doesn’t work Dirty door and floor One bulb not working Small pulley wardrobe Bedroom 2 Dirty floor Storage for buckets and mops (no room elsewhere) No shelves or drawers Small pulley wardrobe Kitchen Dirty crockery, drainer Nowhere to store anything No ice tray No TV remote No kettle No vacuum cleaner Dirty heater Dirty bench Chipped chairs Dirty windows Worn door handles Dirty freezer (blue stuff on the ice) Bathroom Broken flusher Someone’s old rubbish in the bin! Filthy mop / squeegee Lights by mirror not working Shower head sprays water everywhere Terrace Weeds everywhere Dirty decking Broken table (leg falls off) Broken chair Immovable umbrella Filthy BBQ - old meat on grill and rusty (we are vegetarian!) Old, broken sun loungers Weeds, broken panels Old, worn fencing On a positive note, the other brother was very helpful informing the cyclists among us on best routes and peaks to climb, even giving my son a Tourmalet water bottle after he’d cycled to the top. He was also very kind when we needed a doctor’s number. The morning pastries and baguettes were tasty, as were the pizzas on our first night. The pool itself was clean (but surrounding area and shower unkempt and dirty). The children were very disappointed that there wasn’t a waterslide like neighbouring sites. Unfortunately, despite being in a beautiful location, the campsite looked its 30 years. It needs some love and care, gardening and tidying up. I have no idea how it can be 4 stars.

3 magical tree houses located in a very quiet place in the center of the French pyrenees. Come and wake up whith the sound of the birdsongs, while observing deers passing threw our beautiful forest. You test our local product during the breakfast, which is served in a basket hanging on the rope. Just pull it to enjoy! You can also relax in our nordic bath, in a heated water at 39°C, a nightfall under the stars.
We spent two nights in these very cool tree houses. They were well built and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms provided ample comfort, the bedding was especially plush. The basket full of breakfast was a treat to find at the end of a rope and pulley each morning - a nice touch! The property is in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The bath facilities were exceptionally clean and well appointed. Our host, Sylvain, and his wife were both very kind and spoke good English. We played disc-golf with him one day and had a fantastic time! Another treat was the Nordic bath under the trees and stars. I only wish we could have stayed longer. . . .

Close to a Pyrenean village, free of noise and agitation but 2.5km from the city : Argeles- Gazost At the foot of the spectacular National Park, the "Camping du Lac" offers you a quiet place, well-kept in a lovely park. . Large size of pitches with electric hook up. An authentic scenery with every modern comfort. This is a family cosy campsite in the heart of the Pyrenees in the middle of the best known sites : Gavarnie, Tourmalet, Aubisque... So much to see and do ! Touring pitches or chalets.
Very good starting point to go to col d Aubisque. The camping place is very nice and clean. It is obvious that the owner look after it very well, and have an eye for the detail. Guest can order their bread the evening before (until 7pm). It has a pool, which if one travels with family is very nice. The bistro at the camp site offers nice burgers, and regional dishes.

We loved staying at camping d'arrouach! This is a very calm and pretty family camping site. It's definitely on the cheaper side for such a beautiful camping site. It's surrounded by beautiful nature and you can reach Lourdes easily by bus. A bakery and small shops are in walking distance. The hosts (it's a family-owned camping ground) are very kind and tried their best to make us feel welcomed. Communication with them was easy and pleasant. Sanitary facilities could be cleaner but we think that that's the guests' fault rather than the hosts'. Being able to pet the family's cute baby goats was a wonderful extra! Would definitely reccommend!

We stayed with our 3 year old son in the Besik yourt. The location is excellent, with great views, sunshine on the slope where the yourtes are located, plenty of activities in the surroundigs (medieval town of St bertrand de Comminges, paths, wterfalls, skiing, etc.), but the truth is we just wanted to stay in as much as possible! The jacuzzi is a nice touch for the nights with clear skies, the trampolin and animals made the stay for our son, who also played with other kids staying in the nearby yourte. The yourte itself was very comfortable and warm (there is electric heating if needed). The bathroom was clean and close by, and we could fire up the barbacue. The owners are attentive, and the breakfast is abundant and different everyday, with local products. It is more a Brunch than a petit déjéneur, for sure. Also, they have fresh beer to sell which is a plus if you are if need, like my case, of enjoying a bit of football watching (Sevilla beating Betis) on the 4G connection which works really well. We look forward to our next stay, be it just us, or with a larger group. Thanks again for everything!

Very good location, just at the begging of the town, and next to the lake, spa, pool, river and supermarket. WiFi only on lobby, parking places and daily entertainment. Owners were super cool. There came a lorry selling bread everyday. Toilets, showers...etc were correct
