Camping le Medieval

Just a nice campsite next to a nice town.

Reviewed By Wimpie33

If you are in the neighborhood you should definitely visit this place. The campsite is right next to the center off the village. Also the highway is only a few minutes from the campsite. Is had a good time.

Lovely, relaxing base to explore Alsace and the Vosges mountains

Reviewed By stalbansroamer

We spent a happy 7 days in August 2020 in our tent at Camping D'Osenbach, using it as a base to explore Alsace and the Vosges mountains. The weather was generally good, but we had one unfortunate day of heavy rain. The campsite (which is very pleasant, as others have observed) put effort into making sure public areas (including the wash blocks) were kept very clean, as a protection against Covid-19 transmission. Masks were worn in the campsite office, but not generally elsewhere on the campsite. On the recommendation of the campsite, we had a 'degustation' of Alsatian wines at the Koehler wine producers in Westhalten, a village on the route up to Osenbach. We spent a very pleasant half-hour at the winery and brought 12 bottles back home.

Camping Des Trois Chateaux

Excellent - beyond and above

Reviewed By clausrothmann

Camping Des Trois Chateaux may be the best camp site we have ever experienced in the Alsace region. We traveled in an RV/Autocamper and our intention was to stay 3 nights. Due to the very high standard of this specific site we prolonged our stay to 10 nights, before we had to leave and travel back home due to our work/holidays schemes.

Camping de Masevaux

Quiet campsite in nature nearby the city of Masevaux and the river la Doller. Big pitches under trees, sanitary well closed and covered swimming pool. Ideal place for cycling or walking, fishing or resting, closed to the Ballon d'Alsace. Shops in the city about ten minutes by foot.

Nice campsite in a good location

Reviewed By CicieC

We stayed at the campsite in our motorhome for 3 nights in Sept. The pitches are grass and are a good size. The site is nice and quiet as it's tucked away. The facilities are clean and well kept. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming. We visited the Cite de l'Automobile (very impressive car museum) which was about 30 mins drive from here. I'd recommend the site.

Camping du Schlossberg

Clean, spacious facilities in a nice location.

Reviewed By RBuisman

This is a spacious campsite with a variety of spots to pick from, mostly shaded areas. Electricity is included in the fee but not available everywhere (bring an extra long extension cable). The facilities are modern, kept very clean and they are spacious. You can order a variety of bread for morning pick-up at the shop. Camping Gaz bottles are cheaper here then they are in Holland !!! There are walking routes which start at the camp entrance and there's a dam with lake in which you can swim (it's a short hike up hill as the campsite is at the foot of the dam - currently the dam is undergoing maintenance so the distance to the actual water is about 1,5km - it's easier to take a quick drive in the car). There are a few auberges in the area. We recommend "Au Bram's" which is a short drive beyond the dam reservoir towards Wildenstein.

Camping Huttopia Wattwiller

The Huttopia Wattwiller campsite welcomes you in the heart of Alsace in a forest of 17 hectares. Less than 20 minutes from Mulhouse and 40 minutes from Colmar, discover the Wine Route and its typical villages. Hill side location on the French / German boarder

Great site which I think has been recently taken over by Huttopia. Access is a bit off road for caravans and on site pitch access could do with some work (also be wary of following the satnav on the way with a caravan- we arrived with smoking breaks). Usual Huttopia washblocks and two swimming pools. Lots of access to hilly road biking and walking. Amazing thunderstorm one night when the campsite staff were very helpful and kept reception open all night just in case anyone needed anything.

Under New Management

Reviewed By rumba2

This site has been under new management for nearly 12 months. The new owners are refurbishing the site and making it better. The staff are superb, they could not be better, they really want to help you and solve any problems you have. The site is wooded, it’s a haven for local wildlife and adjacent to a river with much natural wildlife. You leave the campsite, turn left and walk over a footbridge. Turn left and there is a long footpath which is easy to walk by the river. Turn right and you follow the footpath for 20 mins into the town centre. Walk straight ahead you go through a small park and sports complex and come to a tram stop which takes you into town and other local areas. Remember to frank your ticket in the machine on the tram. There are 2 wash facilities on site, the one nearest reception is dated but clean with plenty of hot water. The second is very new but was closed during our visit. There is free wi fi with excellent fast speeds. The pitches are rich with vegetation and well kept. You can buy bread and milk on site. The site is peaceful safe and secure. They have security on duty at night. I recommend this site. Do not be put off by old reviews.

Absolument incroyable

Reviewed By Tzunka
