A great find

Reviewed By John N

Was coming to Eugene for a fast trip and looking for a place close to the University I found the Excelsior. I ate dinner there a few year back (sadly the restaurant has closed) and did not know it was an inn. Excellent stay. Room was very clean, has a nice feel to it, Shame I heard that place will be closing down due to a much larger building going up. I am going back in a few weeks for another stay and looking forward to it

Anniversary Stay

Reviewed By racheldCoosbay97420

My husband and I stayed at the Campbell house for 4 days to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. This was our first time and in no way were we disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, the room was beautiful (could use a little updating),the breakfast was exquisite and the wine served each night set a very nice mood. We felt like we were in a beautiful garden during our stay and with so much to do within walking distance we rarely had to drive. We will certainly be recommending the Campbell house to friends and family as well as planning future stays there.

Best place to stay

Reviewed By Mmillercst22

I am a travel nurse and when I'm back from an assignment I stay here. Absolutely the best one in town. Hands down! I have stayed at every hotel/motel in Oakridge and Arbor Inn is the only one I will stay in. My dog and travel companion was hit by a car while there and the staff went above and beyond to help with her. They were all very caring and genuinely loving towards both she and I. I couldn't have asked for a more comforting and thoughtful crew. The beds are also the best in town. Very soft and cozy! Clean rooms and just all around amazing staff. I will always recommend this place when you need a place to stay. It's like home away from home.

What a lovely get away!

The Dawson House Lodge is exactly as charming as I hoped it would be. It was clean, adorable, safe and welcoming. Check in was easy and the owner was very responsive. There are night noises here - the hotel is between the train tracks and the freeway, the building creaks and you can hear other guests, but none of it was disruptive. The tub in the Rose Room was as advertised! Love it here and am planning a return trip already!

The location is great and the price is right. We loved the new restaurant HIFI just below us. It's a very small intimate space . The only complaint is the bathroom is between the entry room & the bedroom.

This was the worst experience ever. We were originally booked at Malita's in chilliquin but because they didn't allow dogs the manager changed us to eagle crater lake lodge.. At which point we were charged for both hotels plus we were charged a $200 fee for the dogs at the 1st hotel that the manager told us it was OK . Both these hotels are owned by the same individual and I would not recommend either one. The manager's name was Amy and the owner's name is Gonzalo, who I have been trying to contact. No one will give me a direct number for him, and the 2 numbers I do have, o e doesn't speak English and the other qont answer.

Sleeping on a health hazard for 5 days.

Reviewed By Wayne A

Kenton hotel in Portland Oregon @ 8355 North Interstate Ave. Do not stay there. Not even worth 1 star. I slept on a urine soaked mattress that was air dried then given new sheets for 5 days. I had a 24 migraine after laying on the bed for 30 minutes and a head ache the rest of the time cause of the smell. They have no permanent manager on duty and when I did talk to the lady she gave me an airfreshener after admitting she new their was still a smell. Plus I specifically said it was coming from the mattress twice in our 30 minute conversation. Then she proceeded to lie to her boss about resolving the issue so I was ignored for the last 4 days staying their. Then before checking out I pulled all the sheets back on the bed and that's when I found the air dryed urine stains. Two of them. Pictures below. I know it's kind of hard to see the yellow stains but they are there. I contacted them via messenger, it's the only way they can be contacted if you need anything, about what I found and they first said no one else complained before me. Then they said they would give me one night free and a discount for a future stay. They still have yet to give me any type of refund.
