Ocean, rivers, lakes and ponds; woods, beaches, lighthouses and national parks; art galleries, museums, antique shops and auctions, fine restaurants and lobster shacks - all of these are within half an hour of our historic 18th century house. Take an evening cruise, go kayaking, hike, birdwatch or just stay home in front of the fire or watch the fireflies and stars from the candlelit screened porch.

Visiting friends that are remodeling a home to move into in Waldoboro and she found SpinnAcres for me. What a beautiful spot. The view is amazing, the room was perfect and the food was excellent. Lisa is a great host and we got to meet and feed the Alpacas - what a wonderful experience. I highly recommend SpinnAcres and can't wait to go back again!!!!!

This is a no frills stay and classic maine cabins that my great grandparents stayed in way back for a couple of dollars. No pool, fancy tvs, or cooking. Its classic maine at its finest. We stay their each October for the Pumpkin Festival which is fantastic. Moodys diner is also a legacy we look forward to with each visits.

22 years and going strong ... Our 1832 B&B and Art Gallery hosted this summer with Libby Hopkins and assistant Jean Paul Doyen from Versailles France, and his "Secret Garden". Le Vatout Bed and Breakfast

Cozy, low-key and completely relaxed, Le Vatout is just different enough to delight. A traditional New England farmhouse on the craggy shoreline of midcoast Maine, it has spectacular gardens and is filled with art and books by its owners, a writer and an artist. Life congregates in the kitchen where meals have substance, flavors have a twist, and old-fashioned conversation reigns. What matters here is not appearance, what matters here is soul.

Pictures are deceiving

My review from a 3 night stay in the double room on the second floor (the one with red walls): Pros: - Dominika was very friendly - Very accommodating and welcoming Cons: - Very uncomfortable sagging mattress - 2 cats that constantly went into the room (broken door latch couldn't keep them out). This should have been mentioned on her website since a lot of people have allergies. - I hate to write this, but the pictures are deceiving. Yes, it has the "charm" that comes with being an older homes but it could highly benefit from some upgrades and de-cluttering.
