Nice hotel
Reviewed By 819kristinanVery nice modern hotel in the center of Varazdin. Rooms are big and very clean, staff very kind, breakfast ok ("klipici" are fresh made), tasty food, surround with park. Our rooms had terrible stairs. Only thing that you have to used to (and have nothing to do directly with hotel) is constant ringing of not one but 2 churches every 15 min!!!!) However, we will choose this hotel again

Reviewed By Ana THotel in middle of town but only has 2 car spaces for guests. Waited 20 minutes to check in, ringing the bell at desk but no response. Breakfast buffet was dismal I would be very reluctant to recommend this hotel

Reviewed By ivanoooo1234We were in hotel/restaurant Orion, we ate grilled meat with gnochhi. It was very delicious. Later we ordered pizza which was also good. Staff was kind. Only minus is expensive rakija, prize for 0,03 was 22 kn which is definetly too much.

Reviewed By dorak596We had lunch in Garestin and the food was really tasty. Grilled veggies are amazing. I’m keto and I easily found something to eat. You can order any type of grilled meat and salad. Other members of the family were also very satisfied. ?

La'Gus is a charming hotel located in a beautiful scenery just 10 minute drive to Varazdin and close to the highway Budapest–Zagreb. Visitors can explore the sights of the baroque city of Varazdin, known for its historical and cultural tradition and events like Spancirfest, the street festival that takes place in August, and Evenings of Baroque music, the music festival that takes place in September.
OK Hotel, but beware of Weddings!
Reviewed By Paul RStayed at the Hotel La'Gus for 2 nights, I arrived on a Friday, we to my room, then popped out for a couple of hours, the restaurant was still open so decided to eat there. I had an excellent Steak meal washed down with a couple of beers! The Receptionist informed me that there was a Wedding reception on the Saturday evening and that it may be a bit noisy from the music, I assumed it would be finished by Midnight, no she said, it is a Croatian Wedding and they go on until 4 or 5 am! She said she would move me to a room as far away from the music as possible. The next night I came back at around midnight and the reception was in full swing, and even in the new room I could hear the music, it eventually finished at 4.45am, fortunately I was able to sleep through most of it, but I had a lie in on the Sunday. Breakfast was OK, not a great choice but OK for me.

Reviewed By doloresm952Lame service, too expensive, I'll never gonna come back. Boss didnt want to come to speak with us. Drink is more expensive than in center of Zagreb. One bottle od Jack Daniels cost 1000 hrk. Shame!!!!

Reviewed By Sunar244Restaurant horrible, showers mouldy, bathroom smelly. Grilled chicken was raw, homemade soup was from the sack made of glutaman. Kids came very hungry and left hungry and disappointed. Also waiting time for the restaurant service was too long.
